From Australia, here is a link to 2006 works of lots of indies - Khoi Dinh Tran, Leonard Street, Piras Femminile, Camilla & Marc, Material Boy, Michelle Robinson, T.vanek Verner, Romance Was Born, and Since Grey, and more. I'm still picking my way through all the work but so far, there are looks here and there that I really like.

Hah! But I'm sorry to see she has a reputation for using fur.

Business Diana Dorozhkina
Taking Ukrainian Fashion to the World
Couturier, designer, stylist and cat-walk director Diana Dorozhkina has devoted more than 10 years of her life to fashion. Her life motto is: “Everyone should become a master of their own craft!” And Diana certainly has. Having studied the techniques of corset making in France, today she uses that experience to make perfect corsets for Ukrainian showbiz personalities. She is also famous for fur, and says, “I dream that one day every woman has the chance to feel like an aristocrat, for when a woman is self-assured she can achieve anything!” The owner of the eponymous fashion house in Kyiv, Diana sells her clothes in many countries throughout the world, and every fashion week here in Ukraine is defined by Diana’s work.

^ thanks somethingelse.

i just love this indie scene.
they always bring something fresh and new that sometimes you cant find in the popular brands.

have you heard of woods&woods?
it's a local brand that carries menswear and i think the designs are very smart.
the clothes are available in paris too.

click www.woods-woods.com to preview.

i agree. they should put more effort on the website.

i dont hv a link for their 2007 works, but i remember i saw a fashion spread of their 2007 collection in singapore local magazine.
will scan the images as soon i find the magz. it should stack here in my room somewhere
:p

i also heard they exhibit the video footage and some photographs of their 2007 collection along with studio prive project.

im loving this ^ the 2nd image below
do u think women will look nice wearing that? im thinking of buying it and wear it as a minidress or something.
^_^

^ Adorable, but I think you'll need a simple miniskirt because it will be too short alone. I'd go with a shocking red or yellow in the skirt. Or sidezip stirrup pants in black. Elegant! :flower:

also, asluxe. i think they've made a pretty big splash. here's some pictures from their spring 2007 show in vancouver.
