The Jumpsuit...

i love jumpsuits and i think they can suit most shapes and sizes depending on the cut.
I have the Stella McCartney for H&m silk 3/4 length one from a few years ago. I like them but i think full length are more flattering. I think a bandeau style (full length) is gorgeous for holidays - especially in crepe fabric.

These styles *(particularly the last one) i think would suit most shapes and heights. I would wear the full length ones with killer heels, the 3/4 style is more casual
First pic from saks. com (jumpsuit is by Black Halo)
Second from revolveclothing.com (jumpsuit is by Moschino jeans)
third is from the fashioninformer.com (jumpsuit is by Tucker by Gaby Basora)

i'm trying to hard to find one of her jumpsuits, but i think i might end up asking my friend to make me one..i think it would be cute tucked into margielas ankle booties

jumpers/onesies are the most incredibly piece of clothing ever invented.

What about jumpsuits for men?

love them!!!!!! i saw this fashion show with all onesies for guys and i thought it was pretty damn hot. it was mostly sleepwear but pshh...still hot.

I didn't know there were jumpsuits for men (Post #71). I wouldn't wear one, though. Or at least I've seen some of those old-style one-piece pajamas garments back in the old days. I think I've even seen an old episode of "Sanford and Son" when Redd Foxx (one of the finest comics ever to me) came out in an old-style one-piece pajama suit.

Everyone is entitled to their own opinion in almost and field of study. We all tend to agree and disagree on a lot of things. For me, I like the longer jumpsuits more than the capri-type jumpsuits. I'm sorry... not very fond of jumpsuits of capri length. On the other hand, I'd be fond of jumpsuits that go down to about the ankles with a good pair of chunky sandals or shoes to accompany them (best if the shoes are wedges). I either like jumpsuits with bootcut legs or palazzo legs. And I'd prefer more silky and stretchy fabrics. I think of jumpsuits as either dress-like pants or as a classy one-piece pantsuit. I guess I don't like capri-like or cropped-type jumpsuits because I don't find them too stylish in my opinion. That blue jumpsuit from Post #1 and the second picture in Post #62 are what I'd call capri/cropped jumpsuits. An alternative for me to like capri jumpsuits would be if they were long pants with slits on the sides going up to the knees. Otherwise, I've just never liked the shorter jumpsuits. That's just me. Don't hate.

Do any of you think denim jumpsuits could be acceptable as casual clothing? Like if Levi's or Diesel came out with a jumpsuit that's every bit as wearable as a femme's favorite pair of jeans? This one isn't a casual denim jumpsuit, but here is a Bisou Bisou denim jumpsuit I looked up on Kaboodle:

A quick question because I am dying for a loose jumpsuit this summer.

Do you find that the look only works on younger people or can an older gal (mid 30's) pull this off if worn loose?
I dont want to try to do it if I will look like a little kid...Hahaa.

does anyone know where i can buy the jumpsuit by Gaby Basorab online?

(the jumpsuit in the 3rd pic above)

I love it so much!:woot:

Definetely! I wouldn't walk into american apparel and pick up one of their skanky ones, but i think any age can wear them, if done "right."

no no no men shouldnt wear them  unless hes a plumber

I like jumpsuits with a utilitarian or safari vibe...
Kinda sexy & androgynous...
Anything too frilly or twee is too cutesy for me..

At any rate, there is something so very right about them @ this moment..

A few I love.. :flower:
