To Australian fans-
The Kills where on JJJ like a version on Friday, they played "Crazy" by Patsy Cline. They also Played Black Baloon and hung around for an hour. It was recorded when they where here at the begining of the month. Anyway, they sounded amazing and you can download the podcast, but they will show the segment on JJJ TV this coming friday so we can see them in the flesh!

I saw them play in DC this past thursday night, it was incredible. VV was smoking on stage, per usual, and was amazing all around. Jamie looked soo much better than last time I saw them, about a year ago - his hair was slicked up into a mohawkish elvis thing.. He made a cute comment about DC and the "new president."
"Black balloon" was the best of the night, I think, and "last day of magic" was particularly good as well.

JJJ is the best radio station in the world! And they also have a tv program.

I dunno, they tend to keep the same setlist for a while and then change it. The one I have says November 2008 on it, and it was the same for all shows during then.

Jamie Hince 'disappears in Canada'
Jamie Hince, guitarist with The Kills, has not been seen since Wednesday.

The Kills' guitarist Jamie Hince has gone missing days after a bust up with a fan, it has been reported.

According to the Sun, the musician, who is supermodel Kate Moss' current squeeze, disappeared after playing a show in Montreal, Canada.

Two days earlier at a gig in New York, Hince had been involved in a brawl with a fan who was giving the band V-signs from the crowd.

An onlooker told the newspaper that the guitarist dragged the man onstage and slammed him into a speaker stack.

The mole added: "[Hince] then hurled him with full force off the stage and into the crowd. The bloke just lay there motionless, crumpled on the floor. For a moment I thought he was dead."

Since the musician went walkabout on Wednesday (May 6th), bandmate Alison Mosshart has posted pleas on the internet for people get in touch if they spot him.
