Yay!!! Helena's returning to the show! I missed her! and I really really hope that Shane cuts her hair! I think she looked waayyy hotter when she had that short choppy faux hawk look goin' on.

i've read that they took her off to save/rebuild her character because it was kinda going nowhere.. but if that's the case then i can think of many characters who need 'breaks' :whistle: but who knows.. i think the writers are not that great now anyway..

Hmmmm yeah that makes sense to me.....Lol chip45, who do you think needs a break besides Helena?! There are some characters who really irritate me (like Jenny b/c she's such a bratty b*tch and Bette b/c she's a stuck up b*tch who doesn't really have a sense of humor and Jodi b/c she's a hot-tempered b*tch! LOL! sorry these are just my own analysts' of the characters) but if they left the show even for a little while, the show wouldn't be the same imo. And yes I agree that the writers aren't that great right now. What happened? Are they new? Some of the stories in some episodes are kind of silly and I don't really care for Shane this season too. And that's sad b/c she was my ultimate favorite since day one!

Couture_Whore, for one, i really can't stand alice. she just can't keep her mouth shut and idk, she's just so frustrating!! and that stupid tv show that she's on; she's like a ridiculous imitation of herself. and what does she do these days besides make podcasts (who even watches podcasts?)? i agree on you with bette though, shes like this stuck-up controlling serial cheater. she cheated on tina with that carpenter chick, now shes cheating on jodie, with tina, and tina doesnt seem to care at all that bette is hurting someone else, just like she was hurt before. actually now that i think about it, this show is kinda idiotic in some ways but i guess this is what 'bringzz da drama

i like shane this season, she's funnier than before, but the conversation between molly and phyllis at the end of the last episode really make me feel for shane.. like it's so unfortunate that she had to hear people like phyllis talk about her like she's an uneducated lump of wood. n molly just seems like a user anyhow.. using shane to get back at her mum..

haha i dunno about the writers.. i think the creator probably just hires all her friends to come think up plots and dialogue and write scripts.. nothing seems very linear IMO..

I understand chip45's points about Alice. I liked Alice too in the previous seasons, especially season 1 when she had that funky/choppy haircut (which i thought was the coolestB)). But this season she seems a tad irritating in a way I can't really put my finger on...and another thing chip45 said was about what Alice does for work?! Yes she makes "podcasts" but does she really make an income from it? I know she got a spot on that gossip show "the look" or whatever it's called but since she's been casted on there, I think she's only done one episode! Oh well...nevertheless, The L Word's still a great show and I'll continue watching EVERY SINGLE epi but I really hope they kind of "bring it down to earth" so to speak and not make it a silly fantasy type show for all the guys out there.

i think it was made clear (by the time max started working for her and made her business plan) that she makes lots of money from advertisers on ourchart (her site) i guess in my mind ourchart is some sort of lesbian myspace wich makes her lots of money and podcasts are just a part of the site. i guess. if it makes sense!

this season has been really strange. i wanted tina and bette to get back sooo badly but then i love jodi and i love how tina has changed from depending on bette (she was really subdued the first seasons) and got her life back... i dont want em together anymore. plus bette was my fav one and now she just gets on my nerves. not as much as jenny (she bugs me beyond belief) but i hate her stuckup uncommunicative attitude towards jodi.

a) sorry i can't help you with that! I don't know what happened to Papi! lol and i've watched every episode and I still can't recall! Maybe it's mentioned on some L Word website somewhere...that's one of the annoying things about this show, they introduce a new character and then all of a sudden they're gone w/out an explanation!

b) that's one of the things I don't understand about Shane & Jenny's relationship either. I've heard Shane mention a few times that Jenny is her bestfriend but how can she sit back and let Jenny act and treat people the way she does! Especially how she talks to Tina on set! (remember the part when she was in a "meeting" with the wardrobe stylist and Adele and Tina urgently needed to talk to her and she was rudely telling Tina to wait?!) Uggh! Come on! Someone really needs to tell Jenny to shut the f*** up and have some respect!! Seriously! Who does she think she is?! Maybe the gang is scared to say anything right now b/c there's a lot of money riding on the Lez Girls movie and they don't want to jeopardize Tina's career in case Jenny decides to pull out...just a thought....

c) and YES! Adele is a super creepster! Her motives are really sketchy. It's like she wants to become Jenny and then sabotage her or something...Like when they were going to (i think) it was an awards show? And Jenny was banned so Adele went in to "try" and get her in but actually she didn't even try at all! She ended up staying and taking pictures and talking to the press! I read that in one of the upcoming episodes, Adele plays a video of Jenny and Niki having sex and then blackmails the production company. In a way, I actually like Adele in the show! Bring on the pycho drama!

lol yes, adele is nice in the way she's the only character that tries (in her own creepy way ah!) to ruin jenny. i've grown a huge hate towards jenny, i just cant help it. and i loved her carachter on the first 2 seasons.
