yeah, they have these screenings in west hollywood and sometimes the actresses show up. I went with a friend who swears that Shane is based off of her. She's nowhere near as hot as Shane but totally dresses like her. When I went Alexandra Hedison, Kate Moennig, Leisha Haley, and a couple others were there. The girls that show up at those things are a trip!! If I ever run into Rose Rollins I'm not responsible for my actions.

jennifer beals is by far my favorite, and she never shows up to those things. she says that it's because she is super duper shy, which she is. but she is going to L5! so of course, i want to be there! the tickets to L5 are so expensive, though, and then i'd have to fly from the usa to blackpool! (i think it's in blackpool. i keep forgetting. )

no i didnt meet them. They all sit at a table looking unapproachable. but Kate came out to a little balcony area and was so engrossed in a conversation with a girl that i decided to leave her alone...my friend wanted to bum a cig off of her but i thought she'd embarrass me so i told her not to. LA folks leave celebrities alone for the most part.

she really does! the chemistry between jennifer beals and laurel holloman on screen is out of this world. i mean, come on, in the elevator? and when bette told tina that to her, "it was like going back home." so sweet.

Jenny and Nicky was pretty hot.

firstly, no, it's not the last season. the current season is season 5, and no one knew if the l word would be given a season 6 because no show on showtime has ever run over 5 seasons! but it was announced yesterday that the l word would be given a season 6, and that season six would be the last. meaning that... once this season ends, a new one will begin in january again.

oh, and just do you know... spoilers ahead, highlight the text if you want to know what happens between jenny and nikki: nikki cheats on jenny with shane!

OMG I had the biggest crush on her from Flashdance. I always thought she was bendable... She really takes charge in a sex scene...or her character does... plus she is just so beautiful...

leisha is awesome. have you heard any of the tracks from her band, uh huh her? they are great! and... i heard something about jennifer accidentally slipping up when asked about kate, and having said that kate in fact does dig women, too. i think that may be where the nikki stevens/alice on the look storyline came from, where alice is pressured into sorta' outting nikki on the show!

that's what saves it...the situations are totally contrived but the dialogue has its moments...that's why i loved that campfire scene. writing that kind of dialogue for that many characters was genius.

i read somewhere that the campfire scene was mostly improvised, (as well as the scene when bette and shane are squirting each other with water bottles,) except for the entire alice blowing up about cheating and jodi then finding out about the bette and tina situation.

^ so true. but i like what ilene has done with the show all these years. in my mind, the tibette storyline is perfection. maybe i am just biased, though!

and yes, smartarse, i read it at another forum. i think ilene chaiken was just blessed with really amazing actors on her show!
