The Last Movie You Saw?

cold mountain... it's soo depressing

purple, ahhh i'm so glad you liked aviator! i think we have some similar tastes in films  i've been wanting to see it, but have been hesitant cuz it comes across a bit as just a fatty leonardo dicaprio blockbuster, and although i love cate blanchett, i was worried about the portrayal of katharine hepburn because she is one of my all time favorites... it's the only movie my bf is willing to watch with me (he refuses to watch un long dimanche de fiancailles) so we're gonna go see it tomorrow

lemony snicket's series of unfortunate events - love the cinematography & costumes

Exactly what I was afraid of... It actually improved upon those expectations though, and I did find myself pleasantly surprised. It is slightly long, as a bit of a warning, but otherwise quite good.
I cannot wait to see A Very Long Engagement either, and was in fact planning on watching it in Ottawa! Sadly it hadn't been released there yet, but The Aviator thankfully didn't disappoint. I'd also have gone in own my own as well though, since it's been rated R.
Do let us know what you think of the Aviator.

Purple, I have always had a fascination with Howard Hughes so I can't wait to see "The Aviator" and I read "Cold Mountain" before I saw the movie so I was ready for the ending.
I loved the part of Renee Zellweger(sp?) in the movie.

October Sky.
I've sort of always had a thing for "dream" movies.

Pigling Spike is great. But I have only seen Adaptation though.

Saw the lord of the rings the fellowship of the ring last night. :flower:

Win a date with Tad Hamilton!

eternal sunshine of the spotless mind

loved that movie, but I'm getting tired of the messed-up memory resource.

Actually, Adaptation is about the only Spike thing I haven't seen. A friend of mine has this box set with most of his other stuff, but Adaptation's not on it, sadly. I really want to see it. What did you think of it?

same here...I watched it 3 times the other day :smile:lol:smile:..I just didnt have anything else to do, but well..I liked it the first time I saw it and now..it just gets on my nerves, I really dont like it and it's probably because I over-watched it but, i feel like it's just a big load of cliches, imo.

Dr. Zhivago (Part II and finale).
