hm.. I though sheertones was something new.. lol..
I think my cheeks have too much natural color... I don't think there would be much point in the sheertines for me  .. tested the plush glass (only just arrived in Cph) and I love them! Crusty White

Hanne, I think they've been new at some point since I started wearing MAC ;) Since you have the natural color, do you need blush at all? (I have no natural color in my cheeks I don't think so I don't know  )

There is a MAC concealer I really liked, the LE Catherine Deneuve Studio Lights in a color that's just perfect for me, but unfortunately it's LE so no more ... just in time though :woot: Prescriptives has re-introduced their custom blend concealer, so when I run out, that's what I'm doing (I wear their custom blend foundation). All the MAC stuff is too yellow for me, and their colors are not consistent--IOW the same color code in foundation & concealer won't match :yuk:

I do have a bit of natural color when I don't wear foundation.. but when I wear foundation it sort of kills the color.. I guess I should give them a shot when I start wearing foundation again..

I stocked up on my MAC makeup yesterday, mainly items that I can use to create a smokey eye...hence the dark eyeshadows. Anyway, here's what I got:

Paint in Untitled
Print e/s
Black Tied e/s
Blacktrack fluidline
Frost Pigment
Blushbaby Blush
Babied Liplaquer

for a total of about $120, but it'll last me months so it's okay. :)

The MAC pigmant in Dark Soul is great for a smokey eye and it lasts forever.

Ooh, thanks...I'll have to try it! :flower:

Just be sure to apply it before your foundation as when it falls off it can smudge your foundation. It is well worth it though.

just bought some concealer in NC 30 and also some fake eyelashes for new years eve #4 lashes

Bought the buffer brush # 182 (the new one that was launched along with the LE avantgold line..albeit the brush is a permanent product I think) It is so incredibly soft LOVE:heart:LOVE:heart:LOVE it
and
Plushglass in cushy white..smells wonderful of vanilla and slightly of cinnamon.
I don't think it actually does what it promises...heck I'm not even sure what they mean on the MAC site when they describe it as "Formulated to make lips look and feel like more – instantly! ", but since I didn't buy into that.. I wasn't disappointed.. I would have liked it to be just a slightly bit more opaque...so that it would create a high-gloss finish...but overall it is very nice..

can someone explain me the difference between pigment and normal eyeshadow..? i don't dare to buy pigment before i know what it actually is

Watch me answering your question when I don't own any pigments

But ... it's loose powder rather than pressed, some of them are more multi-purpose, and I believe the pigments are more intense than regular products, so perhaps require more expertise to use. Chanel, for example, brags that they put 4x more pigment or whatever in their stuff ... but with my very fair and oily skin, that just makes their stuff not work as well for me.

Now for the expert answer from someone else

You did a great job:flower: The pigmant is just concentrated colour so you need use only a little to get a strong effect. It can be a little tricky to apply as it smudges badly when you try to wipe strays bits off.

I own the pigmant in dark soul and really like the effect.

please remember to check whether the pigment's you use are eye safe . .
some aren't ;]
& yes, they're just concentrated pigment . . . colour. a little goes a long way!

I think they come with a list of which colours can be used on which areas. It is a bit of a pain trying to read it as the print is so small

I haven't bough that many products from M.A.C but it is still my favourite beauty brand colorwise. The products that I most look forward to buy are:
Two lipsticks called Snob and Pink Nouveau. For those who have tried what are your opinons about them. And what shade are they on your lips?

I kinda like the Viva Glam line and I would like to buy more of their liquid liner gel
