Contrast (dark blue with shimmer)
Deep Truth (metallic dark blue) -> I'd buy that one if I didn't mix my own shade with carbon and vellum e/s

Nehru (but it's matte I think)
Plumage (matte, dark blue-green shade)

Nehru is matte, but it'd be really good for this look because it's not quite black...it seems to be a little bit darkest blue and a little bit darkest gray..and it really depends on the intensity as to the colour it ends up...

I feel like when I put blues on my eyes, they make me look dead, so I want something to make my face look cute, but it has to be a dark blue.. I will try contrast thank you!

got given a girft today
strobe cream
green smoke
retrospect (not good..too light)
trax (again..ppl keep giving it to me)
Amber lights and I LOVEEEE them!

Its odd because i was wandering what the hell strobe cream was and now i have it..cant wait to try it out although not really sure when or how to use it. ( i know what it is just not how to make it work for me)

^^I tried some of that strobe cream yesterday in mac at king of prussia, and it just seemed like lotion to me, nothing dewy or shimmery, I did'nt understand, when I hear such good things about it.

I always apply the strobe cream with the MAC Stipple brush. I would only use a little as it does have a pretty high shine.

Thanks for the karma btw:flower:

I think the reason I love MAC so much is that it's of quality, but at a much more affordable price than designer makeup. I have yet to come across a drug store makeup that does what MAC can do. Granted, I have found makeup of better status, but for quite the price, usually $10+. I don't have a lot of money to throw around like that, but I do want something that will last throughout the day. Plus, the colors are fun! I love their advertisement and their simple packaging. All the stores I've been in, the cosmetologists have been extremely helpful and friendly [sometimes overbearingly so].

Does anyone know if MAC uses any ingredients said to cause harm... such as cancer.
I am always hearing certain cosmetics have bad ingredients...
and MAC stays on forever so I am always wondering what the hell is in it.

When I have checked with them on specific really bad ingredients (like in nail polish), they don't use them. They do use petrochemical preservatives, but I have to really hunt to buy "organic" products without them--I have to read every label to avoid them. So based on this, my impression is they avoid the worst of the worst.

The vast majority of perfumes include a plasticizer called toluene that causes birth defects in boys and is none too good for the rest of us either :innocent:

^ Thank you!

That perfume thing sounds terrible...
Do you know of any that don't include it?

i cant find strobe cream on the australian website...is it available in Australia?

i love wearing Flusterose lustreglass with Underage lipglass on top cuz its the perfect shade of pink for me(light pink). Flusterose is too bright at times (blonde/lightbrown hair) and Underage is a lil too whitish.

im lookin for a happy medium.
has anyone tried Plushglass in Pretty Plush?

I saw a girl come into the store and wait in line clutching the perfumes, one with the gold top, white top and black top. How do those smell? Anyone like?

^ ok but cheapish..you know that fake cheap perfum smell..as if it was bought it cvs/boots  i got the green one as a gift and use it in the bathroom!!

i have the gold one..its vanilla and very very strong. one spritz is more than enough. i used to really love sweet smells but now i dont so i barely used the gold one i think its called mv2?
