That silver MES is actually Odd Couple...there are going to be 9 MES Duos, 4 Lipglasses, 4 lipsticks, and then the 227. There's also a Cult of Cherry collection which has 3 quads, 5 lipsticks, 5 lipglasses, 4 Mattenes, 2 nail polishes, mascara, and two blushes. It's dark eyes and then red lips.

Oh boy. I told myself I would wait until Holiday to buy more makeup but clearly this isn't going to happen. I love the mineralized eyeshadows...sigh!
Well I got my very first mailer today (it was for the three-parter that is released in exactly one week) and it's hard to limit. My Neo Sci-Fi wishlist is:
Sci-Fi-Delity lipstick
Electro lipstick (this is the most expendable item on the list)
Pink Grapefruit lipglass
Soft & Slow lipglass
Evening Aura eyeshadow
Expensive Pink eyeshadow
Scatterrays Solar Bits
I could also get one of the bronzers or blushes, but I have a Glissade on the way and Northern Lights is the cat's meow to me. I could also get Femme-Fi, but at least there are darker shades for me to skip. I initially wanted three of the four nail polishes but figure I just bought a ton of OPI and Essie ones and OPI has better brights (plus at ULTA, they send out coupons galore as well as sometimes a B2G1 on OPI).
Cool Heat is harder for me to skip, I want them all except for Climate Blue and potentially Blue Flame. I don't do darker eyes, but Blue Flame is a) a Veluxe Pearl, and b) it is like nothing I already own.

I thought I'd want a lot of Cool Heat but I saw swatches over on Specktra and a lot of my lemmings were smushed! Luckily!
I went to the downtown Nordstrom today and talked about the neo sci-fi collection with an SA. (and it's the 21st, yay!)
Anywho, she showed me some of the products (they're available for pre-order, I guess) and I have to say I'm more excited than before.
First...those nail polishes. Oh-em-gee. Phosphor and Plasma Blue were sooo bright...just gleaming, liquid sunflower and sky. It will be tempting.
And the solar bits were crazy! She took one "bead" and smeared it on her hand; it covered a lotttt of territory. The texture was almost creamy. She also told me the Future Earth volcanic ash face product was "amazing."
I think I'll be getting magnetic fields e/s for sure. Maybe soft & slow lipglass. Otherwise I'll be penny-pinching.

I've heard rave reviews about the volcanic ash exfoliator, but the Solar Bits? Some people already have them and they do NOT recommend it. There is severe fallout with them, one girl did them on the eye and it fell out all the way down to her lips, and it was nearly impossible to wash off.
Trista , I bought Port Red after reading your recommendations and I havent even tried it , till it arrived via courier !! And red is a diffcuilt colour, and i have to say its da BEST RED, i've ever had!!!! THANK YOU SO MUCH KARMA

I am definitely buying a few backups of it, I'm almost considering skipping Electro and Sci-fi-Delity in Neo Sci-Fi because I want more Port Red. It is SO perfect. I think you might like the Cult of Cherry collection that is coming out in the fall because it has exclusively red lips, but nothing will top Port Red for me.ElectricAlyce

Just spent over 550$ on Mac makeup, and it was worth every penny!! Applying the nailpolish now and it is soo-oo-oooo amazing! Its a thousand times better than the Chanel nailpolish I used before, thats for shure

Well, it wasn't just for me, it was for me and my fiancé. We got a foundation, two lipsticks, nailpolish, some brushes and assorted minor things. We also got a Lacome dipliner and a Sisley eyeliner. Love it all

I imagine though that the prices are higher there than here...I've heard that it's absolute insanity. Here an eyeshadow, lipstick, lipglass, lustreglass, et. al. is $14. I'm trying to buy less and less, and I'm succeeding in knocking items off. Sometimes though, you just gotta buy! I wanted Femme-Fi, but I have Crystal Avalanche and I plan on getting Solar White (from Cool Heat). If Evening Aura is like UD Jones, I am skipping it. Also I was going to get a thing of Solar Bits but now, it's a total no-go. Many decisions will be made at the counter.

Yeah, Norway is really expensive. But on the other hand, (as I mentioned in another thread) it's not really accurate to compare the prices since I don't pay dollars but crowns, and right now the dollar is pretty weak, so it won't give an accurate picture.

It’s the perfect perfect red, I’ve ever tried and like I said…I just ordered it online after reading your review on Port Red…I thought why not…and I’ve been looking for the perfect red for ages, I did not want something too bright nor too dark…something that’s timeless…and because I am olive/dark skinned its hard to find that perfect red and thanks to you, found my true red=)
Yeah I am looking forward for the red lipstick collection in the fall, was wondering when about are they going to launch it? Is it going to be a collection of reds or just two or three highlighted colours?
^Yeah I am olive-toned as well so a lot of brighter reds looked terrible on me, Port Red was the first one that I got to work. I would have bought a backup if I didn't have to buy new shoes.
