The only thing I bought from NN Thursday was Mutiny Pigment. I'm definitely going back for Bell-Bottom Blue (even though it's pretty similar to Blue Storm, which I have), and possibly Lovely Lily. Nothing else from the collection wowed me.

Oh well. On to Neo Sci-Fi.

Well I was lucky, I got another Nordie's GC...so even more MAC money! Also I got the Heatherette Trio 1 from a friend...I was so considering getting it because the e/s in the Heatherette trios are full-size ones and figure when I finish up something in it, I can always depot and then reuse the casing. Yes, I would have bought the Heatherette trio just for the unique case. I love it.

i think the sheen collection is very similiar to last year's collection glam glams...i loved it!

I their Heatherette collection ... it's coming to Asia this July and Fafi was amazing ... went to their launch party and had tons of fun with the Fafinettes

Heatherette is AMAZING, it's one thing that you might buy some average things for just to get the packaging. The pigments are really good, as is the Reflects Gold...I have the 3D Silver and have not been using it as much (maybe save it for costumes and such) but it is fun. The lips are really good, Hollywood Nights and Style Minx are the standouts. Yes, each lipstick has a coordinating lipglass. Alpha Girl BP is amazing.

Yes, Glam Gams and Skinsheen are the same sort of concept (body bronzer). I think they do it in early May because that's when a lot of parties and such are, but in our area it wouldn't really sell (IMO) before Memorial Day weekend (when you have more new stuff launching).

I remember Glam Gams was launched in late Feb/early March, i was in London and they got sold out very fast...Dont know how well they sell in the states, but i loved it! it gave a beautiful sheer sorta bronze, a subtle one with excellent light coverage...but it was more of a spray thingi...is skinsheen a gel or a spray?

Skinsheen is supposedly a gel mousse. I dunno, I don't pay attention to the body bronzers as much, I prefer powders or creams. Sprays are too unreliable for me.

My only NN purchase (thus far) was Port Red. I have fair skin and I think it looks perfect! I am 28 and this is my first real red lipstick! I have tried dozens on but was never able to find the right one. I'm so excited! I will probably end up getting the Love Knot lipglass, Illegal Cargo shadow, and Lovely Lily pigment. I'm not keen on blues (which is why I wasn't terribly excited for this collection) but I am obsessed with purple; Illegal Cargo and Lovely Lilly are definitely up my alley!

I tried Skinsheen yesterday and I'm impressed. The SA put it on my arm so I could see how it wore throughout the day. I wore it for several hours and it didn't smudge, transfer, or streak. And the color looked very, very natural! Even Mr. Hipkitten, who is anti-self-tanner, liked it! I think I will be buying it for sure.

^So I guess that means you really aren't going to be that into Cool Heat (since most all the shadows are the green-blues)...but what is your opinion on Neo Sci-Fi?

I was so looking forward to NN but i was kind of disappointed The only things I loved were the pigments, and I got Lovely Lily and I think I'll go back and get Bell-Bottom Blue. I wanted to like the Illegal Cargo shadow but I was worried it'd make me look like I had a bruise And I liked Shore Leave but it was similar to colours I already had.

I also got the Violet pigment, and I can't wait to buy more

So, the promos for the Holiday Collection 2008 "Red She Said" are already beginning to surface. It's only May!!! Anyways, it looks quite stunning and of course I can't wait to see more.

Heh welcome to the world of pigments! So far from NN I got Port Red, Party Mate, Lark About, and Mutiny. I am debating on the other two pigments, since I have nothing like them. I also just bought Beautiful Iris eyeshadow today and I am thinking Lovely Lily will go really well with it.

I am on Specktra but did not have a chance to take a look at it before I saw the link...that is severely drool-worthy. I love garnets and rhinestoned items and I might just skip the Nordie's Colour Forms basic set in order to get some of these.

Oh and I finally got my Northern Lights MSF in the mail...WHERE HAVE YOU BEEN ALL MY LIFE? I swear, it is the best bronzer ever. The bronze and the pinky-red combined make it so pretty that I don't want to use it...I just want to stare at it.

^I'm glad you like it. I really don't like Northern Light MSF. It's very glittery compared to my other MSFs. In fact, I'm not a big fan of MSFs in general. I sold most of mine - Northern Light, Light Flush, and Stereo Rose are the only ones I kept, and I really only keep Northern Light because it was my first.

I bought Comet Blue Dazzleglass today (in part due to Trista's rave about the Dazzleglasses ) and I'm really impressed. It's very thick, but not too sticky and not gritty like I thought it would be. I tried it on over Port Red and it was beautiful (I'm probably gonna have to go back and get Port Red now, damnit). I hope MAC makes these permanent.

I also got Bell-Bottom Blue Pigment from NN. I was surprised to see that a lot of NN had sold out already - Mutiny was gone (a shocker, since pigments are usually the last thing to sell), Illegal Cargo and Shore Leave were sold out, and so was one of the lustreglasses.

And I picked up the last lip product from Heatherette that I didn't have - Sock Hop lipglass.

I cannot wait for the Holiday collection. The promo looks amazing. I always buy the holiday palettes I'm sure these won't disappoint either!

Speaking of Heatherette some of each of the Beauty Powders showed up at the local CCO...I almost got a backup of Alpha Girl, but decided to skip it in favour of getting the eye brush set from last Holiday. I look at it as being an investment...I also picked up some Raven Blue Zoomlash and some Pinkcraft Liquidlast. Next time it's all about Fluidlines...esp. Iris Eyes.

And my counter sold out of all the e/s except for Illegal Cargo and Pandemonium as well as Hey Sailor! lipglass and Buoy-o-Buoy lipstick...I kinda did want to get Hey Sailor!, but I'll hit a few other stores early next week to see if they have it. Party Mate is a really nice neutral.

It probably isn't everything, but as counters make room for NN, Neo Sci-Fi, and then Cool Heat down the road do not be surprised to see Heatherette pop up. Stuff from Fafi is also making its way to some CCO's, but here we haven't even gotten The Originals or N Collection yet. What you can always do is call the CCO on Tuesdays (the day they seem to get their shipments in) and ask what MAC COLOUR products they got in stock. Sometimes if you ask if they got a MAC shipment, it could be skincare or bags or stuff like that, not stuff like MSF's and what not.

I went to my local CCO this last weekend and they still had Holiday stuff I'd love to see some Heatherette of Fafi!

I don't usually purchase backups of LE items because inevitably I get 1/4 of the way through them and something else comes out that captures my attention. I'm terribly fickle. That said, I did buy 2 Alpha Girl BPs because it really is the most perfect color I've ever had on. It's extremely versatile and perfect for everyday wear.

I'm not too excited about Neo Sci-Fi. I'm very fair and don't wear a lot of warm colors (which is pretty much all Neo Sci-Fi is as far as I can tell). Of course, I'll probably eat my words when it comes out and I have to buy one of everything

As of now, I only have one Dazzleglass (Funtabulous) but I definitely think I'll be getting more. I love the consistency of the gloss and the colors are super fun. I feel like I'm painting my lips with candy
