You do not have to be a Pro member to order over the phone from a Pro store-it would almost be like saying that you could not shop in the Pro store unless you had the card. I know you can order the palettes from any freestanding or Pro store, so you may just want to try a different one.I have another question...
I heard that you can order the empty MAC Pro Palettes over the phone (there are no MAC stores in my state) even if you are not a Pro member. I called the 800 number and began the ordering process but then the woman I was talking to said if I didn't have a PPID number the computer wouldn't let her continue. Like I said I've been told by several people that you DO NOT have to be a Pro member to order this, I asked her to check with a manager but she refused :/
So do you in fact have to be a Pro member to order? Or am I getting screwed? If anyone knows anything about this and can give me some info I'd appreciate it![]()
june_gloom-As far as a consultation goes, it would probably be best to try and go in on a weekday morning, or later in the evening. Consultations should be free, it's the makeover that is the $50 that can go towards product. I went twice. The first time was when I was looking at pigments, and the girl ended up doing my eyes. She was great. Then the second was for an eye look and I made the mistake of going on the Fafi launch. It was a nightmare. Don't go for a consultation or anything on the day of a launch. Also come with a fairly open mind-they will be able to help you choose the right products for you.
