Ooooh, a singer for the icon collection. Thats got my brain whirring. Chrissie Hynde would be nice, she always had a great look. Nico perhaps...although you could barely call her a singer.

Also, Hello Kitty is still hush-hush, however I have a compilation of the deets so far:
It launches on the 13th of February.
It is going to be a big collection-bigger than Fafi or Barbie or Cult of Cherry.
There is a couture compact, but I posted that earlier.
There will be some bags with this collection, as their tend to be. I think I heard that there will be one in the shape of HK's head.
There are going to be Dazzleglasses with this, and they are going to have a HK charm.
Rumour has it that there MIGHT be a doll with this.
It's going to be "Good Kitty vs. Wild Kitty", so there will be a set of very "pretty" colours, and then a set of bolder colours.

I personally am hoping that they do 6-shadow palettes like Manish, however it will probably be quads or singles.

i went to my local mac store today and bought nailpolish in "rocker" and dazzleglass in "miss dynamite".

the dazzleglass in this color doesnt show up too well. does anyone have a suggestion for a mac lipstick to wear underneath it?

Thank you for that! I hope they do more in terms of packaging than Barbie and Fafi. Like having the compacts shaped like Kitty's head, butttt that's probably too much and I'm just being greedy

I think Miss Dynamite would look gorgeous over any red lippie, especially so over an orange-red like Lady Danger.



As for Hello Kitty - yeah. I'm gonna get everything. I'm already cutting down on my list for Blonde, Brunette, Redhead so I can afford this one.

And for the Icon collection, it's just short of confimed on Specktra that it is Aretha Franklin, who I wouldn't have thought of in a million years.

Yep, it was accidentally leaked, according to a friend of mine who is on there and who I swore to secrecy that I would not tell!

I have cut my Dame Edna purchases down to two lipsticks and two lipglasses. I might as well avoid the Hair MSF's after all, since Hello Kitty will bleed me dry. I CANNOT avoid the glitters in Chill, however, as I am trying to get all of the Reflects glitters. My hours forecast is looking fairly grim at work, so that just compounds everything. All of my post-Christmas money seemingly is going into Hello Kitty. In fact, my friend said "Katie, take out a loan for HK".

For those of you who are wanting Hello Kitty...be prepared to have your wallets swearing at you. The Dazzleglasses are going to be well over $20 from what I heard, and the compact will be $90-not sure if that is US or Canada. Not only will it be huge, but it will be priced more than likely higher than even the couture collections.

Also Metal Urge is out...and as far as it goes, the only interesting thing for me are Reflects Purple Duo and Reflects Bronze. Reflects Blackened Red seems boring, and I have Very Pink already. Spiritualize doesn't look particularly interesting either.

28$ for a dazzleglass is too much i think.

from the two hello kitty pics i see i only want that hot pink lipglass and lipstick and that medium shell pink lipstick. i dont like the look of the eyeshadow quads or compacts.

i think i liked the barbie collection better

and e/s in surreal and parfait amour.

The MA's have started greeting me by name and always ask how my college course is going. I'm taking that as a sign I have spent waay too much of my student budget on makeup lately

I had a feeling that the crystals would be Swarovski...I am going for broke on this one. The compact and the orange Dazzleglass are the must-haves for me, however I will have to wait and see. I hope the pigments are repromos; I have Pink Pearl and Fuschia already. I have a feeling that the glitter will be Reflects Turqatic.

I knew that they had to include glitters and pigments, but I didn't think they would have glitter liners as well. Also I knew there had to be something with brushes, but I like the idea of the set...that's another must-have for me. I had thought the compact was going to come out at Nordie's as well...so it looks like I might be wait-listing for it online

I think I want a blush and at least 1 of the eye palettes. I wasn't really that impressed with the actual HK design though. I thought it could have been much cuter.

Well we only have one of the designs-there is going to be two different ones. The main one in the pic is the Wild Kitty-there's the Mild Kitty one that will be softer. I have heard that the mascara is nothing new, and the glitters are repromotes (meaning get them while you can if you don't have a PRO store nearby). The shadow quad so far looks nice, but skippable. The worst news (or best) is that not everything has been stated-there will be more surprises. There will also be two blushes. One more of a poppy red, the other a beige.

Wait and see:
Lipglasses-I'm much more a fan of the Dame Edna ones, and I have a feeling these will be very easily dupeable. I care more about Dazzleglass.
Lipstick-Same with the Lipglasses, because I plan on getting 2 of the 3 Dame Edna lipsticks and unless it's a glaze, frost, or AC I will skip it for the most part.
Pigments-I haven't heard any details, but I hope that it's a repromo so that I can skip it. I have Fuschia AND Pink Pearl already, as well as Helium.
Eye quads-I have to see the shades, and the finishes.
The poppy blush-If I have the funds, maybe.
Beauty Powders-If one of them is a really nice shade, I might consider it. However I am getting the Couture compact so I don't exactly know if I need to get another HK clam.
Vanity set-While it is pricey, I do love Hello Kitty and I do need a vanity set. However, I have to evaluate where I would be at.

And I just figured out a way to afford most all of what I want without going into debt: I'm going to get my taxes done as soon as my W-2 goes up online, so that I can get the check as soon as humanly possible...and hopefully, in time for HK. That way I can still put aside cash for HK, as well as maybe get an item or two from Hair. The MSF's are looking more and more skippable especially since they are going to be $28-and I would rather get Gold Deposit.

Also most prices are going to be going up on the 1st of January-mostly items that were not increased last July.

Any users out there?

I like what it says, but does it come out all pinky/ glittery or just light reflective?

Are there any non glittery but light reflecting creams or alternatives to this??

any help much appreciated
