I just wanna say that I changed my mind on the CG Fantastic Lash.
the first time using it, I was simply testing it at home, 1 or 2 coats were applied. back then I was quite impressed with this totally smudge-free drugstore mascara that gave me fuller lashes. however, I just wore it for the second time and I found it's no good. still smudge-free, which is great, but after 3 coats it made my lashes big and spidery, did not define and separate at all. so I guess it only works when applied thinly (2 coats or less). it comes nowhere close to Lancome Definicils.

The mascara thread

I cant choose a normal mascara for myself. The problem is that i have allergy on some and I am afraid to buy new ones. It feels so terrible : itching, disturbing...
I had a Clinique last time, but it dried fast....
Could you help pls? May be the ones you use is good?

Lancome Definicils and Amplicils are the BEST ones for me
not sure if they give you allergy or not though

As far as I am aware of, all the mascaras on the market are hypoallergenic and have been opthamologist approved.. however I guess different people have different sensitivities. Can you remember which mascaras gave you a reaction?

well estee lauder and clinique are sister companies so their formulas should be about the same... atleast thats what the clinique lady told me. So maybe you can find an Estee mascara that you like

thanx, guys, i think ill try Lancome. I heard that its a good make. Does anyone know something about Sisley? Its quite expensive, is it the same good?

Lancome Amplicils=thick lashes

I use Estée Lauder MagnaScopic or L'oreal Lash Architect. Sometimes i use my mom's Max Factor Aqua Lash (it's the best from these 3 i think). What i hate is that pink/green or pink/black Maybelline (i mean the tube). It was cheap but bad like hell.

I wear contact lenses so I'mcareful with eye products,

YSL Effet Faux Cils-there was even a waiting list for it when it came out and it is amazing! Its better for night and going out though, since it gives you the longest lashes, and smells yummy too.

MAC pro-lash-you really can't go wrong with this, it looks good anytime and gives you the thickest lashes, and it enables you to shape your lashes anyway you want to, so you can have them flicking out.

If these don't work, you can always skip mascara altogether and use a Shu Uemera eyelash curler, its the best one around, and you don't even need anything else after using it.

I tried Dior Maximeyes and I had an allergic reaction to it. I returned it for a refund and went back to Lancome. I normally used Defincils or Intensils but decided to try Hypnose and I like it.

Are these expensive brands really any good? How do they compare with L'Oreal Voluminous or Lash Out?

there really is a difference to me.

among all the ones I've tried (drugstore and department store), Lancome Definicils and Amplicils are my HG mascaras that are absolutely smudge-free (a MUST MUST MUST for me ), they do not flake or clump, give long, thick, and defined lashes.

I just got Diorshow and it's pretty good- it didn't clump and looks okay. Defencils is good- but I love Chanel Drama Lash and MAC pro long lash
