thx curious...thx utopia...
i had forgotten the name of those shoes...
thanks so much for reminding me of it...:woot:...

you also reminded me that i have an actual pr of dancing shoes like that somewhere which are flat...
if only i can remember where i stored them...:ermm:...

**i am a sucker for all dance shoes and anything that even remotely resembles one...^_^...

Softgrey- Where Are Those Necklaces From Next To The Red And White Striped Shirt In Your Last Pictures???

Great pictures posted everyone.

soft...that cream 1950's scarf you posted is the spitting image of one i had when I was about 8 (only it was a light but dusky greenish colour) I still think about it to this day...I think my mam must have put it in a charity bag I loved it *shakes fist at mother*

So is this where the black leather glove trend I'm trying to place comes from? I'm loving wearing short black leather gloves with black not-full-length sleeve tops at the moment...

sounds very adorable fff......
my mom and i have had 'words' several times about things that she has given or thrown away over the years...
i think that she is too afraid of incurring my wrath to do that anymore...
:ninja:

yeah...
lthr gloves fit right into the equestrian part of the new gothic scene...
i have more pairs than i can count...
...

Yeah I get awful when I remember my mam ever threw anything out that I'd like now... the ol' vain in the head situation.

Oh fab...I loooove leather gloves at the moment :innocent: a bit hypocritical considering I'm a vegetarian, I really feel this new gothic 'scene' is like all of my thoughts (different styles I've always been interested in) coming together in one thing, it just seems to fit so well I absolutely adore it. I'm just absolutely loving leather gloves with short sleeves at the moment they look a bit devious, or dominatrix as some of my friends have noted.

well then ...maybe you need a riding crop as well...????....

:innocent:

......

:o....OMG...!!!.......

:buzz:...BRILLIANT...!!...
i can see you've really gotten into the spirit of this......
:p

:winkiss:...

would you consider the pouf ball skirt to be gothic because i have to do a shop report on a theme and would love to know the high street items you consider to be gothic!?

depends on the fabrication i think...
taffeta and satin and velvet-yes...
or even plaid...

;)

i have one i black wool and might consider it gothic but would like other opinions!:flower:

I'd say it all depends what you do with it ... I'm thinking it would be a rare one that was Gothic in and of itself ...

i agree ta-ta...
there are a lot of elements within the new gothic style that could easily belong to another style...

it's all about the context and how the items are put together...
i think that'a one of the reason i love it so much...
it combines a lot of really great styles into one...
so you don't have to be schizo anymore..;)
**you can just wear all the styles together in this way...

sort of what fff was talking about earlier...
*it's a lot of really cool things rolled into one...

...
