Elegant Gothic Lolita

ah, my friend tried out a black number and took a photo and to cut a long story short, it was extremely alluring.
although, the price tag didn't really interest her... >.<

That's the only negative to it. A dress from Japan alone can cost $200-$400. Although that hasn't stopped me from buying a few.:innocent:

I looooooooooooove this look so much. I want to dress like this for fun next year a few times.

the shoes too, costing about the same price as the dresses.
crazy stuff.

Not really. The best they've got is lolita-inspired stuff like at H & M or vintage shops. If you mean online shops in America then there's tons!

EDIT: Oh, there's a BABY THE STARS SHINE BRIGHT in the works for L.A. and they already sell some clothes in NY at Kinokuniya bookstore.

unfortunately, i don't know any US providers, but tamarket.com.au has a few pieces for not too expensive prices.

I've been wanting to post these fantastic 'pyscho-Lolita' designs from Samantha Rei @ Blasphemina's Closet; they remind me of something you'd find in the 70s from Young Edwardian, a label which provided period-inspired clothing for the psychedelic generation...

Nana Kitade pulls off the GothLoli look quite well, yes?

Nice photos. Gothic Lolita ambassador? ...Interesting.

Baby the stars shine bright (a very popular lolita brand) opened a store in san francisco not long ago. This style has evolved a lot since it first started, it's quite fun :)

i really admire lolita fashion in general. the whole aesthetic (however i could never wear it xD). i LOVE mary magdalene and the classic brands.

i'm actually a member of the community of Lj

I play on this 3D virtual world site/game thing called Second Life where you have an avitar and can change clotes etc. I met a woman in Japan that found me some Lolita "stores". I finally got me a Sweet Lolita outfit. It is baby pink and white. It is a baby pink dress with a white rounded collor and a bit above knee length, with a white ruffled skirt part and white opaque thigh high stockings with pink trim, a pink hait ribbon. I bought a long blonde piggy tail hair. One of my best friends never heard of Lolita, but the was rather overwhelmed at the adorableness of the outfit.

I prefer the EGA more but this style is definitely pretty.

Reminds me of Victorian doll clothing.
