structures....good one....
i had a hard time with this....so i chose two....

two of the buildings that have haunted me since i saw them....
the first, obviously, is gaudi's sagrada familia in barcelona...
an absolute masterpiece...
it is almost impossible to photograph....and none of them do it justice...

and the second is the reina sofia national art gallery in madrid...
this building is fascinating....
the building itself is very old....and they've added a structure to the front of it which is entirely made of glass...including a transparent lift....
it's fantastic.....there is also a beautiful sculpture at the front of the building....

i loved the juxtaposition of the old and new...
and of such this structured glass with it's harsh lines against the sensual curves of the sculpture....

i took the photo from inside the lift, looking out...
