The "Plastic" Look

this is such a funny thread
but aubrey looks..well...to call her a ****** is dragging a trannys name through the mud.

I think this look work for some people, or at least i don't know MAYBE looks good on a night out, definitely not everyday !!!

I was hoping this was a thread on how to get that ultra perfect high sheen foundation look. I shall leave it now, too many pictures of nastily made up girls!

Dear heavens, why would anyone like the "plastic look"?:yuk:

I'd rather go out looking like a clown with an orange afro, white make-up, and balloon nose.

Something to keep in mind is that you gotta wonder what kind of guy would actually go after a girl who is dressed like that (and possibly has various STDs). You'll probably attract guys who look/act like Eminem

Those same guys who'll go after you just to get laid and then leave you the second they've 'done you'. Then they go tell all their friends how easy you are, etc. Ugh, I've been there.

Maybe this is because I grew up in the 'burbs but where I come from, the really good-looking guys with the nice jobs and lack of criminal record are all attracted to girls who have the 'natural pretty' look. They might give Plastic girls a second glance but more often than not I later hear those guys comment on how much make-up the girl has on, not how hot she is.

Agreed. I question the intelligence and personality of any guy who would like this look.

The likes of Kim Karda-what's-her-name only attract dumb jocks.

I don't get it. Why would anyone want to look that way. It's equal to cheap/trashy.

Well, you should have see the original title fo this thread before the Mods cleaned it up.

I can't believe you guys think it's okay to completely judge someones character and worth based on how much eyeliner and mascara they wear...

When someone puts a lot of effort to achieve a certain "look", than that look says something about him/her and his/her personality.

Yes but I could put on a ****load of mascara and eyeliner and frost my lips nearly white but that doesn't change the fact that I'm an STD free virgin who achieves straight A's. Either stereotyping is "right" or it's "wrong" I don't see any middle ground there.

How you choose to present yourself speaks volumes about the way you want others to perceive you.

I'm ambivalent about stereotyping. Sometimes there's a truth to it, and sometimes people go overboard with it.

Yes, because only virgins can achieve straight A's, we all know that.

Please post credits to the pictures Street_a_Licious :flower:

That girl looks really pretty.
There is nothing wrong with the plastic look, if you focus more on skincare & fake tan, wear more lipgloss, eyeliner than most people do. It looks fine.
But those girls that try to look like barbie by applying layers & layers of foundation look like rubbish.

I think the plastic look can look good/ok when done correctly and worn with the right clothes.
We all associate the plastic look on a trashy girl in trashy clothes.
Im not a makeup expert, so id never try to create this look, but i think worn with toned down clothes and in the right environment (e.g. on a night out or photoshoot) it can look ok.
Obviously if a girl always wears make up like this in her everyday life, it may be a bit much!
