The Rachel Zoe Project ... Television Show

After watching the most recent episode, I realize how important Tay is to the Rachel Zoe work process. Rachel would truly "fall apart" if Tay was to leave because Tay is so essential, so hard-working and serious about the job she does. I respect that aspect of the Tay-Rachel dynamic.

yeah - i agree. When she says that she's socially awkward and hates socialising and mixing with people, I seriously believe her. I kind of find her misanthropic awkwardness endearing. Though it must be hell as a boss and co-worker...

HECK YES. So true.

i saw this when i was in new york for fashion week and i love it! i can be addicted to it. it is so fascinatling to me! i want to by the DVD when the seasons come out.

The Blah Girls.. all that time and hard work for THAT?

Hahah, my favorite part was when Brad asking Ashton about running into Nene or Kim from The Real Housewives of ATL  And he looked so good in that red trench!!!!!

Oh and I saw that shoot on Piperlime's site, the results turned out great. I really like the Rachel/Tay relationship :) They work great together IMO

^^^^ I know. That blah girl thing wasn't even funny. It seems like a fifth graders copy cat version of South Park, without the clever satire.

It was a so-so episode. Not that much happening although the shoot was interesting.
Does anyone have any kind of clue what Brad and Taylor might get paid? I know that Zoe has a multi-million dollar empire but I just wonder what they might be compensated. Taylor must get paid much more because she's more experienced and all but Brad must have it pretty good too.
I'm just curious.

since i cant download the ep (:() im watching it on zshare.....and ashton kutchers 'blah girls'?? How out of the loop is he?? Who finds that funny? Who is it aimed at? AND HOW MUCH TIME have they spent talking about 'styling' this lameo cartoon. damn.

Well, this definitely wasn't the most exciting episode fashion-wise, although it was amusing just because of how ridiculous most of it was! But I didn't know what the Blah Girls were before the show and I'm not inclined to go watch the show after that!

Taylor I'm liking more and more with every episode. And I really understand how frustrating it must be for her to be doing the same thing in her career for three years and the opportunities Rachel said she would get not materialising, and why she says she's bored. Yes it is a fabulous job but it's still her career and she clearly has ambitions beyond staying at Rachel's styling associate.

Rachel and Taylor when Rachel was sick though "You're my blessed jewel?" :yuk:  now I feel sick...

Thankyou Sill but the sound didnt work for me?? Anyone else have this problem?

What are you using to play it? It was fine with VLC player, it doesn't usually have the same codec problems that WMP sometimes gets.

hurrah i got it to work!!! :D Thanks hautechild....I just redownloaded it. technology! ugh! :stuart:

yeah I was wondering that too...do they get paid for being on the show? and a salary from rachel?

its such a guilty pleasure.. i have no idea why i watch this show  besides the occasional fashion, and seriously its getting more and more minimal, all they do is complain and complain. it seems rachel is becoming more a "brand" now, she's the product, not her work. there's so much paid publicity in these episodes its kind of "bananas" but i guess its all part of her work.

yeah last episode wasn't that great ...

though i finally understood Tay wanted to do editorials + commercial works. and not really personnal shopper / celeb stylists.
I know 3 yrs seem long but some asst. of editors wait much longer sometimes to have big works and more responsabilities. It really depends where and who you're working for.
But still, I don't understand why Rachel doesn't let Tay do some work for their "smallest" clients ...

As her friend told her, if she notices nothing's moving. she should leave and go another place.

Ugh, I felt so bad for Taylor this episode. She really wanted to go to Paris for the Chanel show, I don't blame her, but she does most of the work for Zoe and company. Honestly, I don't know what kind of stylist Brad is, seems more like a gay best friend for Rachel than stylist.

Episode 6 was good! I loved the part about the jewelry & I'm happy that Brad is going to Paris so Tay can stay home & b*tch

Rachel's jewelry collection is so incredible... stunning
