ok Lovely Pieces And Photoshoot Idea But I Really Wish They Could Use Healthier Looking Model - This One Is Really Distracting From Fashion.

^ I agree, this model - lookwise and bodywise is really distracting and unattractive. I mean, I want to focus on the clothes, not the model

I don't think the model looks that unhealthy.. she looks toned to me http://www.imagebam.com/image/f0e0ec57127177

They just made her look dirty and unattractive... and the open shirt shots are a little awkward

I think the long black draped piece is really beautiful.. shame I don't have the height to wear something like that

There's too much bodypaint/hairstyling/accessories involved in the shoot that is distracting me from properly focussing on the clothes... almost as if they knew that the clothes alone would not come up as being too exciting for a lookbook shoot.

I am liking the long, straight-cut spaghetti strap camisole dress, nonetheless.

is the first lookbook of the row, right?

I don't really feel the model... bad choice! who is she?

I think the paint is too distracting especially because it blends in so well with the clothing.

its everything about this lookbook for me,

the concept is good, but i think the execution is off and overpowers the clothes.

add to that a terrible model choice and I can barely even focus on the (I'm sure extremely lovely) clothes. sigh.

I get the sense that this was maybe inspired by the tribal Rodarte catwalk show, but Rodarte had very powerful clothes (and shoes) that matched the aggressive/tribal theme. Row's clothes are very simple and minimalistic, the body paint is so distracting.

Basically, it is like something that would have been done by the exquisitely talented and ethereal cave artists of Lascaux and Altamira ^_^
