The Row - The All-Things The Row Thread

Thanks for the video! It's really nice. The fabric of the pieces looks really soft. I especially like the blazers.

I love this line. I was a bit doubtful but now that I've seen most of the pieces I just want to buy almost everything. I like the style and the textures. It's what I always searched and never found!

The video is quite great
Have you guys seen that it has been styled by Vanessa Traina ^^
You can totally recognize outfit they already wore

the video is great isnt it?!!

even though many of the pieces are basics/staples, this video was actually released for Pre Collection and is due instores around November ;)
i just love the whole concept!

i was really skeptical, but the line seems really well done -- nice materials and beautifully cut...so expensive, though!

I'm obsessed with that video! I love everything in it. I have often spent a long time looking for quality basic peices. I wish I owned everything I saw. Haha.
If had the money/time/talent/etc I would definatley be spending the time to make the perfect tee too. I think they acomplished their goal, IMO.

wow i'm loving their line, that green dress is very nice. everything is basic but beautiful and well done - exactly my taste.

Okay why does style.com have streaming media..honestly it bugs the crap out of me. It plays about 3 seconds then stops, 3 seconds then stops. I'm unable to watch anything on there..and it's not because my connection is inadequate.

^^^

the Olsens always have to include fur in EVERYTHING!!! :innocent:

Although overscheduled fashionistas typically approach fashion week's celebrity clothing line appointments, which are becoming more and more frequent, with dread, editors and fashion fans were duly impressed this week at the St. Regis Hotel, where Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen were showing their line The Row. Not just there to offer sound bites, the girls showed up early, answered the front door and the phones, took editors through the collection like pros ("These shirts are made on a lingerie loom, which makes them unbelievably soft," Ashley would coo, only to be followed up by Mary-Kate's, "These stretch leather gray pants are the hottest things I've seen in a long time"), and were the last to leave. When Ashley missed saying good-bye to one group because she was busy with another editor, she stuck her head out into the hall to shout her delayed farewells before they left the building. A Harvey Nichols rep was overheard being particularly impressed by the collection and its tiny masterminds. We wouldn't be surprised to hear that the sisters had some transatlantic business meetings in the near future.

I love that video...the blazers, skirts and t-shirts are amazing, I want it ^_^

:ninja: Am I the only one who thinks that the clothes are plain and boring? Even though the fabrics and techniques are suppose to be "couture-made". :innocent:

^^ i think that's pretty much the point of it... great basics arent they?

I think thats why the Olsens [wisely] chose to present in a more discrete manner as opposed to showing it as a runway collection - which then, could be accused of being 'plain and boring'.

I like how intelligent they approach this line and the way they market it - its really mature ;)
