a 100% silk hoodie. the hood is very wide and falls nicely

ah beautiful leyla!! I really love the double layered scarf it's perfect! would be great over a l/s tee or under a winter coat. I love that you can use it as a hood. The gloves are cute as well as the hoody. What is the price on the double layered scarf? I might see if anyone has it in London when I'm there.....

while browsing through luisaviaroma I stumbled upon this:

It looks an awful lot like the row's fingerless gloves, no? except..not ribbed, but the general concept, structure, color seem the same. I guess the girls were really influenced by different designers this season.

I also like the cardi but I agree that the fabric and draping/shape looks very much like RO.

I'm sure this has been asked before but which stores in New York carry The Row? I know that Barneys doesn't so I was wondering which stores do. There has to be at least one in NY. I would love to at least see some items irl and maybe try on. Help is appreciated.

While I agree that the shape is very RO, I have seen this sweater in person and the fabric is really, really superior to the boild wool that Rick uses. Since it is a soft cashmere blend, the drape is also more flowey and less harsh.

i am glad everyone enjoyed my (lousy) pics

i must say that cardi IS much better than Rick Owens and just looks much better made. it is verrrrry soft and perfect to throw onto anything really.

the hoodie is out of this world. it is long-ish (could be worn as a dress with opaque tights). the hood itself is more like a drape, very oriental looking as it falls so nicely due to it being 100%silk. its also very soft but "cool" soft

as for the gloves, i usually find that idea silly but couldnt resist when i saw these. they are sooo extremely thin and soft that they wont cling to your hand too much. i would imagine they would kinda loose their shape slightly wearing them... which i LOVE. until you of course wash them and they take their shape back.

i know some requested pics of some things on. i wish i had a decent mirror i.. when i get a chance i will try and post pics!

...oh and im afraid i dont have the prices at hand sorry meg! will try and dig them up when i have my orders in front of me
