yeah I think fashoin is Ashley's ultimate focus...which is good since all the effort is paying off. The Row is becoming really respected.

it's actually stylish! and it has a signature look and feel unlike these other celeb "designers" who have other people designing their pieces and make everything look like another brand (such as versace) and then slap a logo w/ their name on it and sell it
i really love "the row" look it's very simple and stylish and i love how everything is mix and match you can create a new look all the time!

^ I agree. When I think of The Row I don't think of a celebrity line, I think of a high class designer brand.
yeah that was the best move...I even remember her saying in a Marie Claire article that she didn't want to do a ton of publicity for the line involving her and her sis. that's why so many celeb lines aren't looked at favorably, they don't take them seriously enough, it's just another step in building their empires.
It's weird because most stores don't have the whole inventory of The Row...I know a lot of people on here purchase the line from private meetings with the girls or at trunk shows. I haven't heard of anyone saying they found the gloves anywhere...in a store at least.

^ I know!! I wish they would open a Boutique in NY and sell it there and on an online store or something. That would be pretty bad though, because then everyone would start wearing it!!

I would not give them any extra credit for this. Their wealth, celebrity status and connections in the fashion industry allows them the luxury of refusing publicity and still getting their items stocked in stores. Most up-and-coming designers have to bring attention to their work in some way and would kill to have a publication photograph their clothing. Honestly, though have they really refused publicity? Both have been featured on the covers and inside major fashion magazines discussing The Row.

those are mine and unfortunately they were from AW07 so i doubt you will find them instore now
with regards to finding the whole range instore, i agree that it is hard to find as most stores carry bits and pieces.
