It is funny how people all over the world manage to look the same.
I've always got a kick out of how people can say they dress to be different... but then they all dress the same.
I would dress scene-esque though, if I were bolder...
So, correct me if I'm wrong, but there seem to be 5 basic types of scene style
1. Folksy Scene- Listened to Deathcab (before they went all mainstream), wears glasses and scarves, likes to read foreign literature
2. Hollywood Scene- Basic hollywood fashion, similar to the Olsens, only bigger belts and thicker tights
3. Electro-Scene- Misshapes whole group, the wannabe Warhol scenesters who wear really bright, really weird clothing
4. Skater Scene- Lupe Fiasco/Pharrell Williams inspired scenester who skate in bright colored hoodies; treat BAPE as though it is the store of gods
5. Goth Scenesters- Mix goth elements (chains and such, black hair and dark clothes) with scene ones (geometric haircuts, tight jeans); very popular amongst the high school set
