What's with the fur coat coming back again? It used to be a "diva" thing, then PETA came along & everyone was afraid to wear fur...Now everyone's wearing them, epsecially the Olsen twins. Personally, I think it's tacky & it's something my grandmother would love to wear lol.

thats demi moores daughter right? and i think fur coats can look cool when worn the right way. some people like mk get into costume almost characterlike and make it extravagant and flashy sported with red lips diamonds pumps bleached hair etc. i like the contrast when people can wear it kind of scruffy and 60s like with boots and bangs. a girl in nylon looked really cool with it.

That's not Rumer Willis, but Rumer hangs out with "young Hollywood" a lot. I heard she's friends with Lilo etc. The girl in the picture looks like it might be Scout Willis, she's born in 1991. So it's probably her. Tallulah is the youngest and that's definitely not her, she's born in 1994.

Hope nobody minds if I post pics from Suriname's "scene"
Just thought it would be fun to contrast and compare.

Somebody once wrote a scathing essay criticising Suriname and he made some very interesting observations. He described Suriname as a village that views itself as a metropolis. For me these pictures illustrate this. I get the impression that they're mimicking images they've seen on dutch party websites.

Fashionwise there's very little experimentation. It's all itty bitty tops and tight jeans with a big brand name slapped on it

Some interesting tidbits:

The photographer who took these pictures chooses his subjects based on their looks. Not suprisingly most them belong to the upper-middle class.

Suriname is so small that I know so many of his subjects by name or face.

And I am not pictured in any of these. I'm not very outgoing. Besides, here it's all hip hop and r&b. There's no indie scene here, just "rocker" wannabes.
