The Supermodel Challenge Game Season 3!

Reviews

Gisele- I really like that you have a part of the story in your entry. Since the pic is of Aurora sleeping, I think I would have preferred if her eyes her closed... but that's not a big deal, the picture is great! It's nice that she's not just lying still in it... it actually looks like she's sleeping.

Erin- That was cute how you included dialogue from the story. When I first saw your picture, I was  , but it works superbly with your entry! Great work! :woot:

Liya- Personally, this doesn't work for me. The dialogue seems very upbeat and fun, but in the pic Liya is just kind of staring at the camera. I think I would have liked it more if you showed us a really fierce picture of Liya, like Mulan in battle.

Doutzen- I agree with yogini that this is a "safe" entry. The photograph is very beautiful, but in a way I was hoping for something with a bit more life and pizazz in it. This is a good photo because Doutzen's feeling of loneliness is very evident.

Mariacarla- A very strong, commanding picture. I like that it has a graphic sensibility to it. This picture is so stunning, so powerful, but so simple... lovely work.

Eugenia- This photograph is very very beautiful... I like that Eugenia's confusion here is evident, but still subtle. She looks so entranced by the rabbit! Good job.

Isabeli- This is a nice pic, but here Isabeli looks much more happy than sad that she has to return to her stepmother. Possibly you could have a sad pic of her where it's not so literal? I mean, not in a cinderella gown?

Freja- Beatiful job. The picture is so simple, but it gets your point across very well. I can definitely see the sense of confusion and sorrow here... lovely work!

Iselin- Cute picture! :p It's so fun and quirky, and I think it fits the Pinnochio story perfectly... the mood, the pose, the facial expression.... perfecto!

Querelle- Another very simple, but powerful picture. It really shows Little red Riding Hood's naivete and confusion. Querelle looks very gorgeous and feminine here and this really fits the story.

Caroline- I like the idea of Ariel clinging to her old world, but here I think Caro looks kind of bored. The setting and clothes in this pic are beautiful and definitely add to your atmosphere.

Wow only 11 girls left!! Congratulations to all the girls still remaining. I've had a look at the last few pages and your entries are fab!

Anyway, i just thought i'd pop in and thank you all for the most heartwarming and kind comments & thoughts you've left me through karma, PM's and comments in my profile. You are all so kind and i can't thank you enough.
The past couple of weeks have been really hard but i'm battling through and am glad to say i'm doing well. Mostly due to the support of friends and family - without which i doubt i'd be here.
I'm still not at home yet, i'm staying at a friends house in a quiet area just for a break and to get my strength back (both physically and mentally) so i still won't be back to tfs full time, but will be popping in and out.
I don't want to get to mushy in here, i just wanted to thank all of you for your kindness, you really don't know how much i appreciate you!!

It's so great to hear from you Pink_Lipgloss!
Best wishes to you!

Thanks for the great reviews Yogini and CutxPaste!

Gisele Bundchen (dbear1000/JR1)
Beautiful :woot: It's almost like a dream..very surreal..great work

Erin Wasson (Mafiosa)
I love her smile in the picture...it was risky to choose a picture where she was alone in the bare room, because it made her the main focus, but I think that it was a good choice :woot:

Liya Kebede (truebluejen)
I love the strong feeling that Liya is projecting! She's powerful, a woman who takes no crap! This is a great picture!

Doutzen Kroes (Ziegfeld_Girl)
She really is a Beauty^_^ Doutzen looks amazing in this shot...The way the light hits the wall is amazing in this shot and she really projects alot of sadness here...WORKIN IT!!!

Mariacarla Boscono (boho_babe)
This is the definition of Snow White :woot: Mariacarla looks stunning! Beautiful, Beautiful, Beautiful...and WORKIN IT!!!

Eugenia Volodina (Buttons)
Eugenia looks divine here, but when I think of ALice in Wonderland, I see crazy, fun and wacky..this is just a bit too pretty for this particular challenge, but a good job either way :flower:

Isabeli Fontana (J'ador-DioR)
Isabeli looks a little too confident here..it's a great shot, but Cinderella comes accross as more shy and down to earth in the story...she feels like a princess in the dress. but it doesn't make her personality any different...great picture though

Freja Beha Erichsen (Mettchen)
Excellent spin on the challenge! I love how you chose to look into the deeper meaning of the movie, as opposed to just choosing a shot that was literal....I love what you did here and I think that Freja portrays the emotions well  WORKIN IT!!!

Iselin Stiero (Mettchen)
Cute picture....I love the pose and I think that you did a good job here

Querelle Jansen (indie)
This is excellent  Querelle looks very sad here..almost is if she knows that she made a mistake...the red top pops out here, but the intensity in her stare is what is really amazing here....Great Job! This is WORKIN IT!!!

Caroline Winberg (Day)
The stare is a bit blank, but I think that it really works here...I am so in love with this picture...I think that she is confused because she has to make such a tough choice and Caroline shows alot of vulnerability here...nice job  WORKIN IT!!!

King for a Day!
AlrighT! YoU GuYs have submitted amazing entry over the weeks..and this challenge is going to give you a bit more freedom than normal.

The challenge consist of one picture.
Your job is to think of a historical or famous person (NOT currently living) and represent them through your photo.
This may seem easy, but this time we will be judging based on past entries as well as this entry...and it is CRUCIAL to be creative! :woot:
You need to add a twist..find a really interesting unknown person from a different country, or maybe pick somebody famous and find a SUPER photo to represent them.
If you rely on your girls prettiness or the fact that your picture is good..thats not necessarily enough this time ;)
Show us that something extra--and remember to educate us about your person!!
Boho Babe--as winner, you can use any picture you like for this...everyone else please use editorials or streetstyle pictures (those have a lot of personality in them as well!)
You have 4 days!

Lily Donaldson as Ms. Virginia Woolf
2uqk9rc.jpg

Thinking outrageously, Virginia feels anguish at the world even while shes walking through her garden. Shes dissatisfied with her husband, the people at the market, and even herself! She can barely go on....
*
"Virginia Woold is by reputation one of the foremost modernist literary figures of the twentieth century. Though she is commonly regarded by many as feminist she preferred to be referred to as a humanist"
She suffered from depression while living and writing in England end ended up killing herself

Doutzen Kroes as Isadora Duncan

"To dance is to live."
Isadora immerses herself in the art of dance where her body and soul weave together so that the natural language of the soul will become the movement of the human body.

--------------------------------------------------
Isadora Duncan is considered by many to be the mother of modern dance. Isadora traced the art of dance back to its roots as a sacred art. She developed within this idea, free and natural movements inspired by the classical Greek arts, folk dances, social dances, nature and natural forces as well as an approach to the new American athleticism which included skipping, running, jumping, leaping and tossing. Isadora Duncan died as dramatically as she had lived, when her long trailing scarf was entangled in the spokes of a wheel of a Bugatti sports car, in which she was a passenger. In an instant, she was strangled, nearly decapitated by the tightening of the scarf wrapped around her neck.
