i'm actually surprised at how well her ankle has held up throughout the last few rounds. you could tell early on she was a bit more cautious but somehow she managed to overcome that issue. i mean she could have went out to flavia too.
but this great for fran....i had always hoped that what she gives for fed cup would translate into her results on the tour and in the majors and finally it's happening for her. i've always been very fond of fran and she has the game to threaten players especially on clay and i think this fortnight she's threading that needle.
now whether she beats elena that's another story. i mean we all know how well lena tends to perform at these junctures of majors so i'm not sure. i really hope this will be lena's time to shine, finally. to be the only consistent veteran top player alongside justine, kim and serena & venus without a major....she deserves it.

i don't really know what to say, i really dislike Soderling but I dislike Roger too
Considering the build up he had I guess it's not totally surprising he lost but then he has always raised his game for GS so I imagined he'd do the same here...well, now we know Robin plays Berdych
