Question: Got any scoop on The Vampire Diaries? —Ellie
Ausiello: Thursday’s episode is not to be missed. It boasts two deaths, one super-romantic Matt/Caroline scene, and — in the hour’s final minutes — a doozy of a twist.

I think one of the deaths might be the reporter chick that Damonis seeing
I wonder if one of the witches/warlocks is the other death.

OMG last nights new episode was so good!

-Luca and his father, Jonas, cast a spell to pull the dagger out of Elijah!
A ghostly projection type thing of Luca is sent to the Salvatore house. Luca finds Elijah's body and starts to pull out the dagger. Katherine sensing something in the house ends up in the same room and sees the dagger moving. She holds the dagger in so Luca can't get it out! Then Luca stakes Katherine! Then Damon pops up when Luca is pulling out the dagger for the second time and uses a flame-thrower on Elijah's body, setting Luca on fire. Luca is burnt alive. Jonas tries to save him, but he can't.
-Major romantic seen between Caroline and Matt. Caroline sings "Eternal Flame" by The Bangles to Matt on stage infront of everyone at the Grill and then they're making out in the bathroom.
-Minutes later, a majorly heartbreaking scene between Caroline and Matt. Matt gets stabbed in the neck by Jonas (who is out for revenge after the death of his son), and is dying. Caroline makes Matt drink her blood. When he wakes up, he’s far from understanding, though. In fact, he thinks Caroline had something to do with Vicki’s death!

My favorite part of the episode, Katherine, wearing a sexy nightgown, begins the following exchange in Damon’s bed:
Katherine: You hurt me today.
Damon: t*t for tat.
Katherine: You were mean, and very rough and monstrous.
Damon: You deserved it.
Katherine: I like this Damon.
(And they’re almost, sort of, making out!)
Damon: Katherine, there are six other bedrooms in this house. Go find one.
And then he pushes her off the bed!

-The Ending... Doorbell rings and guess who's at the door?! ISOBEL!

Also, The Vampire Diaries is apparently on break again. No new episodes until April 7th!

Yeah, last episode was very good!

I love Damon's character.

I also loved that "Katherine or Elena?"-game, you just can't say who is who. Katherine gets kinda sympathetic, but you never know.

And yeah those long breaks are really annoying. I mean...one or two weeks are OK, but more than one month?!

It will return on April 7. Sooooooo long to wait.

I didn't see any news if Taylor will be back or not.

The new episode was soooo good!!!

-Bonnie can now channel the power of all of the witches that had been burnt. (Stefan, Damon, and Jeremy are the only ones who know about it so she is their "secret weapon").
-Isabel killed herself. (That part surprised me).
-Caroline's Mom, aka Sheriff Forbes, had Matt drink vervain and got Caroline to tell him everything she knew about vampires. (Also surprising!).
-Alaric is now possessed by Klaus!!!

Can't wait for next weeks episode!!!

I woke up extra early this morning to watch it before work (am in the uk) and OMG THERE ARE NO WORDS!! No one else I know watches it so I am in a completely Vampire Diaries haze with no one to discuss it with!!!

ALARIC this Klaus possession better not mean he's dead, he's one of my favourites DAMN him for giving stupod Uncle John his magic ring, however I'm not sure what difference it could make
BONNIE Poor Jeremy, all his girlfriends meet sticky ends! I hope she doesn't die, I love her and Jeremy together
The unholy alliance of Sheriff Forbes and Matt SERIOUSLY!!!!!!!!! I cannot believe this. God knows what this means for Caroline. I love her so much more since she was turned, she really is Vampire Barbie and is one of the best characters atm
