The Vampire Diaries

OMG OMG OMG

This episode was soooo good,it was so worth the wait! Next week looks insane. :woot:

OMG I just saw the preview, it looks so GOOD/INSANE/SCARY/EXCITING!! After waiting this long for the hiatus I'm going to struggle to wait 1 week I think!

OMG I just saw the preview, it looks so GOOD/INSANE/SCARY/EXCITING!! After waiting this long for the hiatus I'm going to struggle to wait 1 week I think!

I know me too! I've never wanted Friday to come quicker.

I woke up extra early this morning to watch it before work (am in the uk) and OMG THERE ARE NO WORDS!! No one else I know watches it so I am in a completely Vampire Diaries haze with no one to discuss it with!!!

ALARIC this Klaus possession better not mean he's dead, he's one of my favourites :( DAMN him for giving stupod Uncle John his magic ring, however I'm not sure what difference it could make
BONNIE Poor Jeremy, all his girlfriends meet sticky ends! I hope she doesn't die, I love her and Jeremy together :(
The unholy alliance of Sheriff Forbes and Matt SERIOUSLY!!!!!!!!! I cannot believe this. God knows what this means for Caroline. I love her so much more since she was turned, she really is Vampire Barbie and is one of the best characters atm

Just omg. That's all I can say!!

Agree with you about Alaric, really hope he isn't dead.

I didn't like the last episode that much, the cat and mouse game is getting boring. I'll stop watching the show if Alaric dies. Ok, no i won't but i will be upset, he's my favorite male character. Matt is so one-dimensional and annoying, he better make it up to Caroline. Also, i cannot understand Caroline's mother behavior, i know her daughter is a monster but every parent loves their child no matter what. I hope she redeems herself somehow.
Killing a character per episode is also getting annoying, they should just make them leave town.

promo for this week, oh my god literally SO EXCITED. damon's dancing

Wow!!! I'm so tired of their "Claus" issues, but I can't wait for this episode. I just love seeing those sexy guys dancing!

Spoilers!!!!!!! :p (nothing major is revealed)
Episode descriptions for the next three episodes of the Vampire Diaries! ^_^

Season 2 - Episode 18 - "The Last Dance"
As the high school prepares to throw a 1960s “Decade Dance,” Elena starts receiving disturbing messages from Klaus via an unusual source. Bonnie tries to reassure Jeremy that she is strong enough to help Elena, but a worried Jeremy asks Stefan for advice. Caroline talks Matt into taking her to the dance. Expecting Klaus to show up at the dance, Damon and Alaric attend as chaperones, but Klaus is playing a complicated game that keeps them on edge. Finally, Damon comes up with a new plan of action that shocks and upsets everyone.

Season 2 - Episode 19 - "Klaus"
Stefan and Damon are furious when they discover that Elena has defied them both to make a new ally and take control of the plan to out-maneuver Klaus (guest star Joseph Morgan). Disagreement over how to protect Elena leads to growing tension between the Salvatore brothers. Meanwhile, Stefan has his hands full trying to keep a confused and frightened Jenna safe. Flashbacks to 1491 reveal Katherine’s introduction to Elijah and Klaus, along with the origin of the moonstone curse. Elena learns shocking new information about Klaus’ motives.

Season 2 - Episode 20 - "Last Day"
Damon is willing to go to extraordinary lengths to prevent Elena from being a victim of Klaus' plan to break the curse. Damon's actions put him at terrible odds with Stefan and the tension that started brewing between the brothers over their differing opinions of how to help save Elena's life blows up into full-scale conflict. Tyler returns to Mystic Falls after receiving a disturbing phone call. With the full moon marking the arrival of the sacrifice ritual, Stefan and Elena spend a romantic day together -- afraid it might be their last.

The second season will have 22 episodes. The episode descriptions have not been released for the final 2 episodes yet, but the titles are:
Season 2 - Episode 21 - "The Sun Also Rises"
Season 2 - Episode 22 - "As I Lay Dying"

Question: I have a Smurf under a knife… don’t make me use it! Vampire Diaries scoop is required to set him free! —Janelle
Ausiello:
In Thursday’s ep, Elena and Katherine will be tortured at the hands of Klaus/Alaric — but in very different ways. Release the Smurf!

SourceAmbs: I'll keep it simple. Please give me anything on Vampire Diaries!
Then we shall keep it simple, too. Someone will be dying. Elena (Nina Dobrev) will be crying. Stefan (Paul Wesley) will be smoldering. Klaus (Joseph Morgan) will be creepin'. Oh, and Damon (Ian Somerhalder) basically tells Stefan he sucks at the one thing he's supposed to be good at...protecting his lady love.

ReRecoli: Can we get any spoilers on Damon and Elena? We are all dying for more scenes of them.
The moves Damon and Elena share during the '60s dance have more heat than Stefan would probably like to see. And it might have just been us, but when Damon started grooving with Bonnie (Kat Graham), Elena looks a little…jealous.

The new episode was good!

-Sheriff Forbes is trying to find a way to save Caroline. (I have a feeling that maybe it's going to be Caroline who dies in the finale :().
-Bonnie! I thought she was actually dead for a minute. (But now Klaus thinks that they no longer have a witch on their side).:shifty:
-Elena pulls the dagger out of Elijah! (I imagine Stefan and Damon aren't going to be happy about that).

Awesome quote from the preview for the next episode:
"I believe the term you're looking for is O-M-G." says Elijah. (he cracks me up)

This show makes my blood pressure high. From the moment Alaric/Klaus walked into the house, I don't think my heart stopped beating so fast til I found out Bonnie was alive.

Question : How was Alaric/Klaus just able to walk into the house? I know Alaric is human so he can but Klaus was in his body so surely the vampire thing would have kicked in and prevented Alaric/Klaus from coming in?

He is a vampire in human body so the rules of invitation doesn't count for him.

SPOILER ALERT!
  • The April 28 episode is called “The Last Day,” because it takes place in the hours leading up to the full moon, which means it could be Elena’s (Nina Dobrev) last day alive. The tension between the Salvatore Brothers, who have different ideas of how to keep Elena safe from the impending sacrifice ritual, escalates. Werewolf Tyler (Michael Trevino) returns to Mystic Falls after receiving a disturbing phone call. :woot:
  • The May 5 episode picks up as day turns to night and, with the exception of the very end, takes place entirely on the evening of the full moon. “The loss of life is significant and very, very, very tragic,” exec producer Julie Plec teases. “The fallout of it is really painful for a lot of characters. The episode is called ‘The Sun Also Rises,’ and it’s really meant to say that our characters, at the end of this very, very long night, need to find some glimmer of hope when morning comes because what they go through is really profoundly life-alteringly horrible for them.”
  • You’d expect the season to end there, but, says Plec, “There was something that we wanted to do that we felt was a really important element of our story for the whole season. We knew that’s how we wanted to end our season. The sacrifice ritual gets us to that ending, but there’s still more story to tell. If the sacrifice is the mythology resolution, the finale is the emotional resolution.” The May 12 finale, “As I Lay Dying,” is centered around another event – A Gone With the Wind movie night in the town square. “Damon [Ian Somerhalder], who is desperately seeking forgiveness from Elena for something that he has done, starts to relive moments from past mistakes made with Katherine back in 1864,” Plec says. “As is always true with these events in Mystic Falls, things go horribly awry.” There’s a lot going on in the finale, she adds, but because so much of it hinges on things that we haven’t yet seen, that’s as far as she can go. ”What we’re doing is telling the audience that when we hit season 3, there’s gonna be a lot of things changing for our characters and in their lives. We’re excited about it because it just shows that the show has directions that it can keep going in and going in and going in, and we’re never gonna get stuck or tired. We’re just gonna keep tellin’ stories.” :buzz:

I have a feeling that Caroline is going to be the one who dies.
Maybe the disturbing phone call that brings Tyler back to town is Matt telling him about what he now knows about Caroline! (But Tyler already knows about it)

maybe it's Matt that will die...gotta be.
on the otherhand, glad to see Nina and Ian are a couple in real life.
Would love to see Elena/Damon get all hot and bothered when Stefan is around.

just got back to watching it and i gotta say they have really stepped it up this season...its getting more and more gritty less high school vampire like
