does anyone know WHY john died? that was weird.. as if there was some sort of spell put on him that i missed?
but yea, one more person left to die this season...

i'm kinda thinking, purely my own speculation, that elena will turn. i mean, her parents, jenna, then john gone.. i can picture her turning just to turn off her emotions. or maybe jeremy will die on the finale, and that will lead elena to turn next season?

^What the spell did was to put Elena's soul into John's body when she died. When her soul was restored, he had to die.

The season finale was good! Different than I expected it to be!

-Stefan locks Damon in the basement cell so that he can't escape or try to kill himself.
-Sheriff Forbes accidentally shoots Jeremy and kills him!
-Bonnie brings Jeremy back to life, but is told that there will be consequences!
-Elena finds Damon wandering around town. Damon keeps having flashbacks of Katherine and the truth of how he originally became a vampire. Damon bites Elena on the neck, but she manages to get him to stop. She then takes him home.
-Klaus kills Elijah! So mean! (Though Elijah was killed with the dragger and put in a coffin. If someone were to dig him up and pull the dagger out he would be alive again. So there is a chance he could come back in the future!)
-Klaus's blood is the cure to the werewolf bite, but in order to get it Stefan is forced to drink several bags of human blood and then has to leave town with Klaus afterwards as part of the agreement.
-Klaus orders Katherine to take the blood to Damon. Stefan says that she won't do it. Klaus says that he has known that Katherine was on vervain the whole time.
-As Damon is on the brink of death, he tells Elena that he knows it will always be Stefan and that is okay. Elena tells him that she likes him just the way he is and gives him a kiss. Damon says "Thank you".
-Katherine surprisingly brings the blood to Damon. In the process she sees Damon and Elena together. Katherine tells Elena, "It's okay to love them both. I did." and then leaves.
-The episode ends with Jeremy hearing something in his house. He goes downstairs and there are both Anna and Vicki standing there staring at him! (Didn't see that one coming).

hey guys, so pretty big spoiler regarding klaus for next season that is kinda making me hesitant
apparently, sometime after klaus&stefan leave MF, klaus will get bitten by a ZOMBIE..and of course, come out of it alive, but as a werewolf/vampire/zombie hybrid...
what the hell? not liking this whole zombie addition, not to mention klaus becoming even more invincible, and as usual escaping unscathed. i think the writers might want to be careful at how unbeatable they make klaus to be, as well as most of the characters.
like how damon was cured with klaus' blood.. and jeremy brought back to life thanks to the witches? it's kinda seeming like some sort of child's play now, like nobody can die..
i hope they change that! although, don't get me wrong, i most definitely didn't want damon or jeremy killed

^How sure are you of that spoiler? Sounds a little far-fetched. Not necessarily the spoiler itself, but that such a big plot point have been revealed.

And btw. there was a person who claimed to have spoilers for the last couple of episodes and they were proven wrong.

and that's just supporting some reports of the zombie business from inside sources

but regarding posted spoilers... of course, all spoilers are not always true. but this isn't a 100% fact forumn, which would be hard to provide anyway because many people post what they would LIKE to happen as spoilers.

i can definitely see my spoiler happening.. season 3 will be the season of the originals& mythology after all.

Like I said, I don't doubt that the spoiler could be true - but just that it has been leaked/revealed (so early).

truetrue, who knows what they'll throw at us! but i don't think i saw anything officially revealed by them specifying that it'll be klaus and into what.. only official thing we know is that there will somehow be another creature. the specification is from 'sources' so that's the only thing that i guess isn't 100% verifiable.

I am gonna assume for at least half of 3rd season Damon and Elena will search for Stefan. Writers just started their sessions this week, Can't wait for the storylines to develop.

I hope the second season ended well? I also done watching the season. VD is like my fav show now. And it's not getting the attention that it deserves

Remember that Elijah is currently in a coffin with the dagger stuck in him. I would say he is "disabled" for the moment. But at least it isn't necessarily permanent.
