^^Well, John asked Alaric to take care of them. So I guess Alaric will be keeping an eye on Elena and Jeremy. But it's true, they do have vampires.

(Though Elijah was killed with the dragger and put in a coffin. If someone were to dig him up and pull the dagger out he would be alive again. So there is a chance he could come back in the future!)
(Didn't see that one coming).

and that's just supporting some reports of the zombie business from inside sources"Will there be new creatures other than vampires and werewolves in Mystic Falls?"
co-creator Kevin Williamson:"Yes but it will only happen when it's appropriate."

Season 3 synopsis
Season three opens the door to learn more about Klaus and The Original Family as his motives for wanting Stefan on his side are finally revealed. As Stefan sinks deeper into the dark side, Damon and Elena struggle with the guilt of their growing bond even as they work together to bring Stefan back from the edge. The ghosts from Jeremy’s past have a powerful message they’re trying to deliver to him, not to mention the impact they’re having on his relationship with Bonnie. And as Caroline and Tyler grow closer, a war erupts between their families.
Joseph Morgan (Klaus) is listed as a Series Regular for Season 3.

Remember that Elijah is currently in a coffin with the dagger stuck in him. I would say he is "disabled" for the moment. But at least it isn't necessarily permanent. But but but but what about Daniel Gillies??? I want more Elijah than Klaus.![]()

There will be a lot flashbacks about originals, so there will be plenty of Elijah
I forgot about that! Thanks. That just made me smile
