My material of choice... Car tires!
Yes.. I know, it's probably a mission to walk in.. but who cares? It's fashion! My diea was inspired by the tire killings during the Apartheid era in South Africa but let me not go into that, it's a wee bit morbid
Anyhoo, so the dress is made of car tires, her hair is tied with string and beads of glass, her half-socks are made of fence-wire mesh and her slippers are made of glass (Cinderella love!)

Fantastic new entries Elegance, Inaya and Prague Inaya, a very interesting idea of constructing a handbag out of floppy disks and Prague, I like your brilliant idea of wrapping and draping tyres around the body like that to make a dress (and matching tyre neck choker too ), I had never thought of using either material before, nevermind getting such beautiful outcomes Well done everyone.

I'm very very sorry everyone, I just realised that I won't be here for the judging on sunday. I'm going away for a week from friday onwards, where I won't be able to have access to the internet So here are the two solutions I've come up with:

1) To move the deadline for entries to Thursday night as that will be last possible night for me to judge.

2) To pass on the honour of judging to another tFS-er.

What do you guys think I should do?

Yeah, make it an extra long challange since I'm sure a lot of ppl are struggling with it (assuming the reason why there are so few entries) so I'm sure some extra time would be alright

I have been away as well, but now I'm back!!!
Prague, I your tiredress. Cartires are an excellent choice, cause rubber are easy to melt and form to fit the body.

I had a hard time to pick the material, everything I could think about was unwearable. All I could think about was different metals...and on renaissance armours (wich is totally stupid cause they are heavy as hell...prob heavier than any supercouture dress ever made ) . I dont know about "Hello future" but I found my inspiration chainmails.

This dress are made of black rubber and copper rings linked together into a net.


This theme was a real challenge. I'm not so pleased with my design, but at least I tried. And I hate my illustration...yadayada.... as always
