Thigh high boots

ok i have the weirdiest question ever...
I got my stella mc cartney boots, worried like hell that they would be enromously high like the ones on rhinna but suprisingly they arent! they are just above my knee cap...almost 1/4 of my thigh..did stella mc cartney produce different versions of the boots?
...or maybe your legs are longer?

PinkPrincess....I love how that girl is wearing those boots.
Those aren't the topshop britany boots are they? they're just ones that look similar....if they are the same ones I might have to make a purchase!....

I'd love to get the britany2 boots, but I'll never use them enough to justify that price...even though they are fairly cheap and super beautiful. I really love them. They're the ultimate boots...the shape of the foot is so pretty, the length of the shaft is perfect and I love the colour of the sole against the black suede. But I just don't wear high heels often enough to justify getting them...

Im dying to get some flat black thigh-high suede boots, available online for shipping to Germany... any ideas/suggestions ? Your help would be hiiiiighly appreciated :flower:

Hi cold_sun, websites like Topshop and Asos have international shipping. I've also seen really nice OTK/Thigh high boots for under $200 on both site. Nice materials.

I'm pretty sure they are too, and they are fab, really comfy and they look beautiful I think - I totally agree with The_Ida :flower:

My britany2s are here and I wore them out last night. Here's a pic ...

spottie- i love them! i still feel like i can't pull off thigh high stilettos in a conservative firm... :( sadly i am in the wrong career field!!! i want to justify getting a pair but if i do, i would have to go with a flat pair.

what do you all think of this pair by chinese laundry? they are only $109 and they have a close fit, i don't want loose ones.

^Those are very nice, and I like the snug fit. Mine are pretty loose, which annoyed me like hell until I fixed it.

I personally like the thigh high boots from isabel marant fw 09/10. they look easier to walk in whilst some other brands look harder to walk in because of the very thick material.

I can vouch for that - they're AMAAAZING!

I've worn mine to death, they're quite comfy once you get used to them.

PinkPrincess113, I've seen them in store and sadly to say, they disappointed me. I thought that the suede seemed rather cheap and unless you have big calves, they will probably not stay upright.

Wow! Thanks for all the nice words! Much appreciated!

Rosalynn -- Thanks so much for karma and for "visiting" me!!

PinkPrincess -- I think I can speak for many of us when I say, we *all* wish we could dress as we please for work. I like the CLs you've posted, but haven't seen them IRL. I would definitely want to see them first. KissenKatja is right, CL usually uses cheap suede.

KissenKatja -- of course you may ask  I'm 5'1 but my legs are proportionately long for my height. Thanks for the compliment.

Great look spottie, I am a NorCal girl myself... nice to 'see' you here!

Total pleasure :flower:

I'd never wear OTK boots to work, I can pretty much get away with any shoes as well as I work in an office with a lot of like-minded ladies, but I'd draw the line at OTK boots.

Good to hear you're about the same height as me spottie, I'm about the same but like you carry my height quite well and am lucky that my legs seem well proportioned. It was still a bit of a concern of mine when buying the boots, but the Topshop ones seem to have a shorter shaft than most.

I think they are terrible. Totally unflattering.
