I have to agree that some of the clothes are abit "try-hard" but I really love the look of the bags. When I saw the elle article with the brown circular(ish)shaped bag I really thought it looked great and it was priced at $1200 (? somthing like that), which isn't really expensive nowadays. Don't like those studded skull bags, there have been heaps of fakes on ebay. Check out that "fake" auction site, they are going for us$250. I think some people have been trying to make some money. I haven't seen one in person but the SA at the store in my town says they will be arriving shortly....so I'll get a proper look then!

I am so angry! I asked browns fashion, in London to hold on a pair of the boots for myself and she didn't answer my emails anymore. I had to the phone the shop and was told they'd sold out in my size.

There is something truly pathetic about the whole consumerism thing in America when you see women paying $250 for A FAKE.

It's hard to believe that there already fakes out there. They are so fast these days so that before you even realize that there are fake items out there you already might have bought one without knowing. And $250 is really a lot for a fake bag. I haven't seen a fake one yet. Can anyone post a pic of a real and fake one. Just curious.

all the ones on ioffer.com must be fake. but they all have similar pictures. maybe even pics of real ones.

ioffer also has fake scarves.

i posted in the ioffer/lushfashions thread and asked if someone had purchased a faux one. maybe someone will respond.

Exactly what I'm thinking. I love the skull motif (and I even like the bags), but a label needs more than that to move me. McQueen has that something more, and I remain a McQueen devotee, but I doubt I'll be signing my rights away to Thomas Wylde anytime soon...

^I agree. I really find the whole of the line rather tired and unoriginal. She does seem to have alot of "influences". I saw an article in Elle too,and there also seems to be a bit of Chrome Hearts thrown in the mix as well.

My sister bought one of of craigslist it was really nice I like the quality of the leather. Do you all think they label will stick around or this is just another Rock n' Roll fade ie: Ed Hardy,Affliction,Obey,Wylde???
Im not a fan of those scarfs ppl act as if they are fashion revloution because Paris & Lindsey Lohan wear them. an I can guarntee Paris has one because it came in GIFT BAG LOL

weird, ive noticed that ebay and ioffer are selling other kinds of thomas wylde bags. (burnt orange skull bag, oxford duffle, Oxford Circus Skull Leather Bag,
studded shoulder bag, all saints bag etc)

some of the ads on ioffer bill the bags as a "francis tse creation". this person or company must be some big time bootlegger with "agents" all over the place.

the orange was kinda funny to see (i think next seasons colors will include grey and purple)

and i saw on electriclady land there is now a baby version of the skull bag, thats cheaper. ($1,790.00)

How is that any different than the main thomas wylde collection?!! It's not. WTF?! Seriously, why create a DIFFUSION line of a line that is made up of like 4 pieces instead of just EXPANDING the same effing line. Sorry but what the hell?!
