Tony Ward

...and Gorman's Tony

Right. A very nice large (8 inches X 6 inches) postcard. Happy to have it and share.

I'd like to post the famous 1988 Greg Gorman "Figure Study" photos of Tony dancing in the nude (published in PROVOCATEUR vol. 1, issue 2).
But it is way oversized, a 6 page gatefold, and won't fit in my scanner.

I can try photographing them if there is any interest.
Here is the interview on the lead-in page.

Please, please, take some snaps of those pages, i really wanna see them(and have them of course,lol)...were they ever published on his official website? Cause the guys who run it have almost everything he has ever done!

I just realized I have the Greg Gorman book with the naked pics of Tony, are they the same photos published in provocatour? I will try to scan the pags from my book, I will tear them out any way.

Greg Gorman's Tony Ward

Well, this will give you an example and you can compare to see if yours are the same.
As you can imagine this would be nearly impossible to scan as this is only half of the gatefold.
This bit (with four images) is already 33 inches long by 12 inches high.
If you cannot locate yours (my Gorman books do not include it) I can try to photograph each picture individually....

Tony's FACE ...

Here is another of Tony I don't believe I saw in this thread.
It's from a 1993 THE FACE and the rest of the editorial is GREAT! (no more Tony though)
I'll add the edit to the Mondino thread later today and hope that you'll seek it out as it's very cool!;)

THE FACE. August, 1993.

this is the best page from the editorial;)) I remember it...and fortunatelly I have this page,too...it has been printed in other magazines as well.

Just discovered this thread, so many amazing scans, dying, thanks everyone. Tony is gorgeous beyond words.

La Force gives way to a whole new level of backstage visual. Here is Tony Ward captured during the photoshoot, or is he capturing us? It might be the force of the fragrance. Breathe.

We knew Tony Ward had some spirit, but who knew a fragrance could unleash it even more? Playfully backstage, there is more to the story than just the ad. See for yourself. Tony caught backstage being Tony Ward.
