And Abbey had campaigns but not very big (aMaybe Tom Ford), but she isn0t in every editorial, or has lots of covers.
Lara and Freaj that girls are the perfect example of TOP MODEL.

I agree that Freha, Anja, Natasha and Lara had a great year...But if I had any say I'd say Joan Smalls and Liu Wen.... not becuae their ethnic models but lets just state the facts: The blue chip campaigns, the edits in almost every edition of Vogue with double apprearances in USA Vogue(Joan Smalls). Not to mention their runway appearances on every single blue chip runway that exist. Their Estee Lauder contracts also sets them high on this roster and thats why I think they had a Fabulous year. Liu even made history as being the first Asian model to walk VS.

yes, i would totally agree with you, but freja had what neither joan nor liu wen had in 2010: major magazine covers. in 2010 freja had 2 italian vogue covers (and an early 2011 cover), covers for british and paris vogue (for the same month!), as well as numero homme, vogue korea, and i-D.

add to that opening/closings for major shows for both S/S & F/W 2010 seasons, heavy editorial rotations on all major vogues, multiple campaigns for chanel, valentino, as well as lucrative campaigns for balenciaga, max mara, tom ford, h&m, harry winston, etc. freja owned 2010.

maybe not the place to make these comments since i guess i'm supposed to keep it elsewhere and not talk about model's lives and/or the fact that i'm gay, but as a queer lady working/writing in fashion too, i sort of wish that freja would just get it over with and officially say that she's not straight already, seeing how successful she is and seeing her wild popularity here too... i know it's her private life and all but i just think it would be REALLY COOL... especially with that bride cover and all, i don't know.

After you broke it down for me so BEAUTIFULLY I see why FREJA is leading the pack....Considering she's not one of my main girls I honestly dont keep record of her work but thanks Happytrail for explaining to me now I'm convince that YES Freja should get the honors....This is why I love this site

I don't like Karlie either but I must admit she has to be in this list! My vote goes to Freja, though. She's undeniably the queen of 2010, both in print and on the runway. Lara had an amazing career, too, but Freja was more visible. I would say it's Freja, then Lara, then Abbey Lee OR Karlie Kloss.

what a funny poll...all these supermodels are successfull models and nobody can tell who had a more successfull career than the other...based on what people? All those women had a great year no matter what and they all deserve to be on the number 1 spot...well, maybe Anja deserves it a little bit more than all the rest)lol
