How is the quality of the line...I've had the site bookmarked forever and want to buy, but I'm always weary of sizing and sending it back overseas can become complicated.

The quality is of a relatively mediocre standard, basically, the quality is as good as any other high-street store but it's marked up miiiiiiiiiiiles.

Seriously, I've bought jeans that originally retailed at approx. 50 euro at a reduced price of like...8. Therefore, hopefully you're getting my point, they only reason they can afford to sell off stock this cheap is that it is, essentially, well, cheeeeap.

The sizing as I think it's been mentioned before is rather dire at times. I vary from XXS-S-M in tops/jackets etc. but I've found jeans/pants to be rather accurately sized.

OMG nearly all of my wardrobe is purchesed from there! The shop in cardiff is AMAZING!!! i love there plain t-shirts...well worth the money !!

now that they ship to the u.s., i was also looking at some of their stuff.
but like some of you, i am worried about quality.


i don't think i would buy a suit/blazer from them,
but something like a waistcoat or a pair of pants,
which are usually easier to create.
of course, most of the pants aren't even 100% wool
and are they lined...i don't know.
so that is kind of a put off.

the website doesn't do that great of a job describing each item as well.

i know, you get what you pay for, but at the prices they are charging
you would think you would get 100% cotton on the shirts.

i've been to Topman once and all i thought was "hipster scum". it just looks,..... really british, but more in a Pete Doherty way, less in a dressy way. Which is sad.

How long does it take for Topman to ship to the U.S., usually?

Ive ordered a few pieces from the UK (not Topman) and I was able to get it in about 3 weeks...Best of luck..

On a similar note: I read somewhere that they plan on expanding to the US (yay!), in particular, a store here in Boston (double-yay!)...

^Good because I basically have to pay double for it. Whether I get it shipped to me (preferred) or I buy it at Opening Ceremony.
I really wanted the gray cardigan from the Design collection. When the pictures are up I'll post a pic.

Ahah, I got part of my prom suit from there. Occasionally I'll pop in, but there's too much generic mainstream 'scene' clothing. Some of it is just horrible however there are some things worth buying. I just love the fit of the clothing, seems to suit tall thin guys like myself.

considering im a girl i have quite a few tings from topman haha .. i bought a blondie tee shirt from there today .. got an large to wear as a massive dress.. some of the clothes there almost make me wish i was male haha its the only store my little brother shops in .. it has almost cult following in the uk haha

I get the bulk of my clothes from topman, they marke their prices up so much in America I guess because its more desirable than in the UK.

But yes, I have bought so much from there, uk wise the clothes are really great quality they last longer than other stores ive noticed and they are always on trend.

I dont buy the overly trendy/neon clothes I would go for karmaloop.com for that. But I love their trenches, jackets and suits they always look really good.
The best time to go is Boxing day or on sale days, you get some serious bargains

I think Topman stuff is decent quality - certainly a lot better than Zara for instance.

I absolutly love this store, they do some amazing things. About a year ago my closet was full of topman stuff. I love there Jeans, and this is a great thread.
