What do you regret buying?

piles of stuff...:ninja:...
it's too painful to make a list...

or maybe it would be therapeutic to do it......

I regret paying $300 for a brand new pair of Vintage Jordan XI.

I actually have been quite good the last year, I threw everything out and have really started to have a quality over quantity mentality, I diden't buy much but a few items I really loved..

I can actually say from last year I have not regretted a single purchase, I always consider several factors before something goes into my wardrobe.

Those silly black patent leather heels...the heel is to short to look good, they're half a size to big, plus they are in Wide. (I wear medium.) But, I bought those shiney little shoes anyway.

my white L.A.M.B chain hoodie and my L.A.M.B argyle vest (red/black) - the one that ashlee simpson made famous by wearing it during her SNL fiasco...I regret the hoodie because I bought it a size too big and the argyle vest because I bought it a size too small (It's an XS). Ahhhhhhh so frustrated.

a hurley trucker hat that i never wore (thank goodness)
a babydoll tee that makes me look preggers
a tie dye tube top

so that's a total of 25.50 wasted..not bad!

A Burberry cashmere novacheck bucket hat (what was I thinking? I think it was winter and my head was cold)

A Burberry reversible novacheck bucket sunhat (who am I kidding, I'm never going to wear a hat, I wear my hair up)

*points to above post* I have a pregnant-looking babydoll shirt too! It's from Guess, very pretty brown with lace, but it just doesn't work with my shape or my wardrobe and I've never worn it

A pair of silver Manolo sedarabys in a half size too big *sigh*

A pair of black Lanvin ballet flats in a half size too big...why do I ALWAYS buy shoes too big before I find my size?

A pair of black knee-high Franco Sarto boots in a full size too big (buh?!)

Two AE polo shirts I never wore

A black Acme Made laptop tote bag...I really can't deal with my laptop -and- my other crap on the same shoulder

A denim miniskirt from Victoria's Secret that I never wore because I lost a lot of weight before it was warm enough to wear it

A black cotton/cashmere "dance" sweater from lululemon...it's an XS but slightly too big and I still can't figure out what to wear under it (it's pretty low cut) but I can still return it when I'm in Toronto next week, thankfully

A whole bunch of bras I shrunk out of...maybe I'll need them if I get pregnant someday, I tell myself

I'm sure there's more...but all this stuff probably adds up to about $3300 Canadian...ugh. I wish I had that in my bank account right now, I'd buy more shoes. Or, like, pay my rent for half a year.

A pair of Steve Madden black satin pumps, they're pretty, but the heels so high! When I tried walking in them, my foot would almost fall out and the shoe felt like a flip flop. :(

A blue real leather jacket 5 years ago. It was tailored and all. $250 right out of the window.
A Pair of pink shorts
A pair of white indian inspierd shoes

I really regret of buying a pair of brown ankleboots. They're nice but huuuge, and as i mainly wear drainpipes, i cant wear them. They only look good with very loose tweedpants.

a pair of gold/champagne colored high heeled sandals i bought last year and didn't get a chance to wear..
maybe i won't regret the purchase if i actually end up wearing them :ermm:

Dior Homme silver 3-D bee necklace. It was so cool until I finally realized that it is a "logo" and then I had to get rid of it. I still have a dress shirt and a tie with a bee on it but for some reason feel that they are okay. Dunno why?

other stuff include:

-super tight D&G tank top with camo trim
-several Abercrombie logo tees (including the infamous Wok'n'bowl tee, which was ironic since I am Asian)
-some vintage YSL suits that would have been so sweet if they weren't too small, unfortunately I would not admit that and kept them for a long time, I even spent $100+ altering one only to admit defeat later and resold it on eBay for a big loss.
-I am most bitter about this $80 Banana Republic dress shirt that I bought right before a friend's wedding. The pattern was nice, yes, but had the most unflattering fit. The saleswoman took one look at me up and down and said, it looks great! (that lying b!tch) That was 3 years ago and the last time I stepped in a BR with the intention of buying anything.

anyways I sold all the items above on ebay since and even though most of it was for a big loss it is still somewhat therapeutic to not have to look at them. Thank god I make more good choices rather than bad these days ^_^

-vintage dresses that I bought that were so cute but didn't fit properly....they ended up in my stock.
-cheap flats from payless.
.....oh
and a bunch of clothes that I no longer have.

I think I've been learning my lessons. Before, what I usually regretted buying had to do with the item's quality or plainess. Now I thoroughly check the seams and the makeup of the material to make sure it will last the price I'm going to pay for it before I pay for it or before I tear the tags out (so I can exchange it). Maybe that has to do with why I am so picky now, and never come away with anything these days. But, that's better than wasting money. ^_^

i'll up the anty and say.. well 90% of my closet

black velvet betsey johnson pants that are too big for me.

and some hideous metallic pink sky-high heals from aldo.

i'm ashamed.

A black&white tee/dress that I've never worn because I feel it's huge on me, and therefore it makes me look even bigger... : /

And, a denim mini that I'm too chicken to wear out of the house...I'm not too fond of my legs.
