Hiya, I would like to ask anyone who's bought the AGGIE shoes/boots - do you think the size runs slightly big or normal? I'm between size 38/39 (UK 5/6) and just wondered which size I should get. My local Topshop does not have it so I'm gonna order them online. Any tip on the sizing would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks girls.

On a different note, I did try on the AMBER shoes/boots and I personally find the ankle area quite restrictive and a bit uncomfortable when I walk in them. They look cool tho for sure; I saw other girls trying them too.

Topshop are supposed to only accept NUS Student cards. Some places advertise Student Discount and proof of being a student is enough, but Topshop's discount works through the NUS. So they should only accept an NUS card, however you might get a nice sales assistant who'll give it to you..

I work there and we accept loads, they come up on the till like college/uni id, NUS card etc, it just needs to have an end date on it

gwennilicious-
i would say size half size down from your normal size for the AGGIES. they are comfortable that way. i am usually a US7 and I got a EU37 when I usually wear 37.5-38

thanks for the feedback about the Amber booties. I sized up a bit for them. How was the sizing and comfort overall besides the ankle part??

ohhh also, i received my POWER unique boots today, i don't like them at all, not for me. i will post pics later when i get home!

I'm probably going to confuse you because Pink said something different ^_^ I'm also between 37.5 and 38, I choose 38 because I figured it would be better to have a little extra room than not enough...luckily the 38 fit like a glove, any smaller would have been a bit of a drama...so I'm guessing the 39 for you?

Any thoughts on this dress/how to accessorize it?

Bought the navy gem cup dress/navy eyelet dress/taupe body con dress from CK, just waiting for mum to post it up to me...will let you know my thoughts when they arrive (bust cup dress looks fab on you disfor, just hoping the cups will be generous enough for my c's!)

I would loose the bow (I know it has a functional purpose as well, but maybe you could pin the wrap instead) and replace with a heavy and or embellished belt :)

disfor- im so jealous u got all of that ck stuff it looks great on you! thanks for posting pics i was wondering if the dress would look good on someone besides a model

Hi girls, thanks for all your comments on the sizing of the AGGIE boots. Much appreciated. I read several reviews from previous pages. People seem to agree that AGGIE is pretty comfortable and easy to walk in. Hope I would find it as easy too!

@ PinkPrincess113: I tried on EU size 39 of the AMBER shoes (as they were the size on the shelf) and they fit well. I don't think I can wear AMBER in size 38 comfortably. Overall, (if I just ignore the restrictive ankle part) I think AMBER feels quite steady when walking and definitely not uncomfortable.

I also tried the PANIC Spike Sandal by Boutique and since it's open-toed, size 38 fits me. But they are not comfortable at all, prob because of the lack of stacked platform on the front part of the shoe. If I didn't even feel comfortable wearing them when I was standing/walking inside the shop, what chances have I got on the real streets of London? :D

Thank you gwennilicious! I was hoping the Ambers wouldn't be too big but I'm glad I went with a 38. Returning from the US is a pain, and I already have to mail back the power boots today.

They are not worth $285 IMO but that's just me. The leather feels stiff and it has white brushstrokes on it?? No idea if that's supposed to be there. Also a 38 feels big on me, 37 would've been better for the 'Power' boots... but it doesn't matter now I guess since it's sold out on the website.

there was someone in my school who wore the kane croc top and in my honest opinion it really looks quite tacky. it looked really worn out, the print waaas barely there. it really would only suit quite skinny girls too

^ do you go to my school? lol cos there was a girl that wore that to my school today too and you live in enfield...

^i like em..wedge booties are so in right now.. i would get them but i have the acne atacomas, and topshop has eaten all of my money lately!

i wish topshop would list measurements.. anyone have these? what is the height shaft? i'm about 5'4" so i don't want them hitting at a weird spot.

loverunway-lol no i live in enfield but don't go to school there.

if only they had those wedge boots in brown

ok well that's a coincidence that there were 2 people wearing the same t-shirt :S

They had pretty much left of the collection in the store at Strøget in Copenhagen yesterday. I was disappointed that there was no print on the back of the crocodile stuff (which I didn't intend to buy anyway). It always bothers me when prints or embellishments aren't carried on on the back :(
