Toronto shopping

Where would one find Luella in Toronto? I've looked and looked and there's nothing but bags.

Holt Renfrew on Bloor and TnT Blu were both carrying Acne jeans. I usually go once per week but b.c of exams I haven't been shopping in about a month.:( OK I've been online shopping instead. :innocent:

But they definitely were carrying them the last time I went shopping.

I love those two stores. They are right in my neighbourhood, I love walking around Bloor/Yorkville.

Ick. Although I need to head to some shops down there sometimes I hate hate hate it. It's so commercial. So fake. So Irritating. So... boring.

The interuption of Bloor St. on yonge kills the vibe that I so love about Yonge downtown.

APC is now available at TNT Blu (3 different cuts of jeans, and a shirt.)
and there's a sale at TNT Man (up to 70% off.)

Thank you so much for letting me know.

Dresses In Toronto

Does anyone know where you can get a cute dress for under $150.00 in Toronto. I was thinking H&M, but I'm not sure. Any suggestions would be great.

What kind of dress are you looking for?

There's this place near Spadina and Queeen (on the westside of Queen) that had some funky Betsey Johnson-esque dresses that looked great.

Parade on Queen St. has some cute dresses sometimes. There's also this store at King and Younge - I can't remember then name...grr. - that has some really cute dresses for very reasonable prices.

Fashion Boi. HOW very odd that I was wondering where I could find APC, without having to order it, like, yesterday. WOW - thanks sooo much for that info.

SOOO much karma coming your way you don't even know it.

They also sell APC at Holts on Bloor, but only one style of denim.. but lots of clothing.

What good stores are on Yonge street downtown? Maybe I am missing something since I've only lived in the area for a year?? I only know of stores that I don't like, such as Aldo (near bloor) and Guess (dundas) being on Yonge and stores selling bondage clothes (ahahaha)- where is the good shopping area? I've been to Shopnyla on Yonge but thought it was totally mediocre to be honest. Fill me in :flower: !

Called today... only mens APC

Your welcome!! Didn't know APC had such a demand. ^_^

emiika: does Holts sell APC clothes for men too? And I believe one of the cuts at TNT is unisex.. they had it in a bunch of sizes starting from 25.
ellesea: nope, unfortunately. I think they only have sales when most other stores do (end of season, around July.)
ellewoods: Bloor Street from Yonge to Avenue has a lot of stores, as do the adjacent streets. The general area is called Bloor Yorkville. www.bloor-yorkville.com/

^ thanks fashion_boi_01, too bad about that! I was just thinking since men's is having a 70% off sale, TNT blu would too. grr

^to my knowledge the only last call in the Toronto area is at Vaughn Mills mall.

You guys *have* to hit up Sydney's (795 queen street west), i pulled some amazing stuff there the other day. If anybody wants a beautiful custom tailored suit, Sydney's is the place to go and it's not *retardedly* expensive (still expect to spend a grande and up on a custom suit, they have off the rack too). They carry some great great brands. Tell them Tristan the stylist sent you in and they'll be extra helpful. They also do Custom jeans, that I totally plan on getting once I get my hands on 300 dollars i can dispose of. Wonderful Japanese denim that custom fitted to your liking.

Also Delphic just across the street from sydney's stalks some beautiful stuff. At Just west of spadina on richmond are Nomad and Goodfoot, a little more urban but remarkably beautiful jeans. TNT stalks some nice stuff too, a bit too yorkville-esque for my taste sometimes.

69 Vintage is doing a relaunch this Thursday, at 1100 queen street west, their events are always fun and stylish, dress on the creative side if your gonna hit that up.

Boomer for men's clothes is great too at Queen and JOhn.

Spectacle which is on queen street, west of delphic on the north side stalks the most amazing sunglasses I've ever laid my little fingers on.

Even further west, is ransom, specializing in one of a kinds.

Wow, I've done alot of shopping lately!! Make sure to check these places out!

Also start buying canadian magazines!!!!!!!! Lush, Highrise, KnowMore, they need out support!!!

Try Kensington Market - it's full of vintage stores with great dresses, especially Bungalow 8 and a little Korean boutique right at the entrance. Everything in the area is from the $10-$100 price range. You can take a streetcar down from Spadina subway station - just ask the driver to tell you when you hit Kensington.

I heard a rumour that H&M is opening on Queen St West, where Tortilla Flats used to be (Beside Due West, etc)

Everyone seems to be saying it, but does anyone know if it's actually confirmed?

That whole strip of Queen Stret is really changing quickly!
