Toronto shopping

1) Are there any outlet malls in or near Toronto worth going to? I already know of Dixie outlet.

2) Where should I get my eyebrows shaped? They're in terrible condition right now... a bit too thin for my liking. In my opinion, Angelina Jolie has the best shape. Any suggestions?

PS: Has anyone seen that god awful men's leather jacket from Danier with the red stripe through the chest that EVERY man, boy and child bought last fall....its like an f'in memo went out....

 ewwww yes!!!!

TNT blu is doing final sale now, 70% off on all the winter stuff.
Lots of Junya Cdg and a nice Cloak leather jacket !!!

Does anyone know where I can get Marc Jacobs sunglasses?

MomentsHaveYou, try the Este Lauder Spa inside the Holt Renfrew flagship located on Bloor and Bay. Asa for outlet malls, try Vaughan Mills they have the Holt Renfrew outlet store there.

ImpossiblePrincess, the Four Seasons is great and situated right next to Gucci, Vuitton, Chanel and Holts. Or the Park Hyatt.

TNT Blu sells Cloak??! Omg U'm so going there. Also attention Dior Homme seekers, Montreal is not the only place you can find Dior Homme, the flagship store on Bloor and Bay carries it as well!

unplugged- Holts on Bloor sells MJ sunglasses although sometimes their stock isn't great. It depends on the week I guess.

i highly suggest that whoever is passing by holt renfrew on bloor st. go there...
the 2nd floor is mostly renovated and it looks AMAZING...i loved it!

I love Toronto. I went there about last Christmas and it was so much fun and Canadians are so nice!

I love it as well. The Chanel and Gucci boutiques looks so luxurious. They should start updating the men's departments though. The renovations are moving quickly everytime I go there which is basicly every other week I see so much change.

^i usually pass on both those boutiques...i guess i'm not really interested in chanel or gucci...
i'd like to see prada though...it's ironic that an in-store boutique may actually top the size of the standalone..

*and didn't someone say that they carry dior homme in men's dept. now? i looked and didn't find anything! i want to see what the fuss is about...

Yeah I was the one who mentioned it. I recieved a call from a sales associate at the flagship store located on Bloor & Bay and was told that they now carry it. Not many pieces since they just brought it in. It's located on the main floor from what he told me. I guess they finaly gave into my constant complaints lol. Now lets see if they bring in Cloak, Jil Sanders, and other higher end designers. IMO there is way too much Gucci, Burberry, Prada and so on in Holts. They need to get less commercial designers.

I actually think the Chanel and Gucci boutique look better than the ones located further down Bloor.

^they have cloak..:flower:...but not very good pieces of course..
*and jil sander...with a few runway pieces..very good quality, but it's definitely for a good-looking older gentleman. i tried on a sweater with that curved neckline, and it looked wrong on someone as young as me.

They have Cloak? God their site sucks, they never update. I just hate browsing at Holts sometimes. Even though I've shopped there 34732483432432 times and get alot of personal services done they still treat me like sh*t. They only stop treating me like sh*t the minute the pull out my file from the computer.

:ermm:..well..i don't care for service right now..i don't buy anyway..
although i've always had my questions answered...generally, people are nice to me. i think it's mutual..you have to be nice to them too..

but that's a whole other thread..it's called "shopping at luxury stores" i believe?

Yeah I guess. I really like some pieces from Ann Demeulemester but from what I hear it's impossible to get in Toronto. Atleast the mens line.

When Ann Dem was selling in Corbo a couple of years ago,. nobody buys, and now people are looking forward to having Ann Dem again !!
Corbo still carries Ann Demeulemeester and Rick Owens, but only for women, isn't it sad ?

Victor and Rolf is also selling here, but it does not sell very well, so i think sooner or later, it will disappear in Toronto.

Actually, the shops here try to bring in a lot of brands for men, but not too many can survive, except some big names like Dolce and Gabbana, Prada etc etc

Viri di anne will be avail in Toronto soon, and see this time, how the brand can survive here :D

Yes, both TNT and Holts have Cloak

I called Corbo today because I was just searching online for Ann D. retailers and they listed Corbo and to my disappointment they only sell for women like you stated. I just find Toronto's fashion district so saturated with commercial names, rather than the low key designers you find in the states. I mean for God sakes they no longer sell Mui Mui in Toronto, only in Montreal. It's ridiculous how people in Toronto have to go out of their way to get certain designers. I'm just so sick of Dolce, Gucci, Vuitton and so on.

lets do a little compare between shops in Toronto with Atelier NY, for example, and you can see people here did try to give men in Toronto choices other than Gucci, Dolce, Prada etc etc

Rick Owens - Corbo, but not anymore
Ann Demeulemeester - Corbo, but not anymore
Number (n)ine - ICII, but not anymore
Undercover - 83 Bloor
CCP - in the coming future ??
Carpe Diem - in the coming future ??
Les Hommes - Anti Hero
Raf Simons - 83 Bloor, back to Toronto this F/W
Viridi-Anne - 83 Bloor, new to Toronto this F/W
Cloak - TNT and Holts
