Looking for a chic & feminine trench with removable inner lining - what I saw at Burberry didn't really appeal to me in termes of cut & quality... :innocent:

Any other brands that make well - lasting trenchcoats?

My favorite of the moment:

I love the look of trenches. I've been in search of the right one for years, but I've either never had enough money or could not find that would fit me correctly (I'm 4'11 and very skinny; it's really annoying to find coats). I think I finally found a petite trench that could flatter my figure and look classic and feminine at London Fog. But I've banned myself from making anymore major clothing and accesory purchases until late November. The coat also only seems to come in black, and I'd like a khaki/stone color.

Trench coats are definitely fashion. Even if looking plain and unstylish, you still look great in a trench coat. It's fashion, as well as functional. You can find any number of ways to dress up with a trench. Just put some clothes together and look as stylish as you like.

Definite fashion. Don't let the frumpy opinions tell you otherwise.

OOhh I love trench coats ! They are classic and always looks great at anytime. I wanna buy a new one soon, may be purple or ivory colored...Or dark red as the one I own. Love them:heart:

I love wearing a trench coat, it is the perfect fashion item, meets all criteria, and would put the Burberry trench in my top 3, alongside the Gant trench, which is surprisingly cool, and one from AllSaints.

Love my beige trench. Looks great with a scarf and a pair of dark pants.

I always preferred the Trench coat to the more traditional camel coat! You can wear so much more with a good trench coat, top clothing labels are on the ball, and have ridden on the back of the trench coat's successful return to london fashion week.

^ Agree. Fitting is important also. A tailored trench coat lasts years (and avoids the "frump" look) ^_^

I love trenches -- I have two "traditional" ones and two "fun" ones. Here are the "traditional" ones: the black one is burberry, the blush one (has a silky feel) is burberry prorsum. Pics my own.

I love trench coats! I actually am having huge difficulty finding one to fit me though... because I'm tall, and my arms and legs are very long, so the sleeves end up stopping half way up my arm... which is not good! Topshop does a couple of 'tall' trench coats, but they are way too expensive for me (over £100! way too much for my student budget) and they aren't particularly nice anyway :(

^ I invested in a high-end trench as a student (using my summer job money), and I still have it all these years later ... I think it's a purchase worth saving up for. (And looking for a deal on ... I found it for a very nice sale price at a boutique ... possibly they weren't going to carry the line any more? I'm still not sure why it was on sale, but you can bet I didn't question it )

Two-months off -- thank you . Here are my two fun ones -- purple is d&g and black is LV. Pics are my own.

^ Ooh, I like the black one ... sooo pretty from the back! Very New Look ...

Waiting for this one to go on sale. Love the gold buttons and navy is a departure from my usual black.
