Glamour

I must say, the classic scarf is coming back strong. Like capri pants, I hope they stay, winter after winter. I enjoy the recent glamorous trends, like oversized sunglasses, cashmere scarves, and fur accessories.

I love:

-Opaque tights
-Headbands
-Black
-Black&white
-Checked coats
-Mod dresses
-Stripes
-Flats

this kind of shoes (I don't know if they're a trend or not, but I've seen them a lot)

If you ladies love mary jane shoes, then allow me to praise you for it. The mary jane shoe is one of my favorite shoes I like seeing on ladies. It is a classic design which exudes innocence and style. Many girls grown up wearing mary janes before growing up to wearing strappy wedge sandals.

The gaucho pants with boots trend is certainly one of my favorites among ladies nowadays. Ladies want to make capris and floods and all-year deal. Well, the gauchos may just be the best bet. My favorite boots on ladies are mostly your average spike heel or high heel boots, usually tall, black boots. If not that, then aggressive-looking platformed boots also seem to look good. As far as the gauchos go, I've enjoyed the more skirt-like gauchos. You know, give people the illusion you're wearing a flowing skirt, but when walking by, show off that they are pants. With these specific gauchos and tall enough boots, it is a very sexy look. Some ladies even look for tie-front shrugs or really short jackets that match the color of the gauchos. That's also a good choice.

I don't know if it's a trend, but I'll try to explain a recent trend I've sort of grown to like on ladies. I've sort of liked the look of ladies career wear, paired up with some sneakers. I've seen so many similar styles, but I've seen a lady with a black dress shirt, beige/khaki dress pants, and some Skechers Grand Jams or Minuet sneakers in black with white, tan, or cream trim. There are so many differnt black sneakers with white or natural trim that look like Skechers, but still make a surprisingly interesting look. Best results are usually with beige/khaki/natural pants with these specific sneakers. It's a surprising mix of career and casual if you ask me.

Already said, but yes those are 'mary-janes'. I've seen them in everything from flats to 6 in heels. I think only certain ages can wear them effectively though, maybe 15-25 or so. I think they're too school-girlish for anyone over 25 or so.

.with your 'one long earring' comment before in this thread it inspired me to go and try some out

Who used to do that? There was some celebrity that was almost known for it.

:heart:
Russian;
Pointy heels;
flaunting with a little fur;
leather gloves (need new pair though)
suspenders

:yuk:
oversized sunglasses
this 'fake leather' material going around (as in Stella McC)

how can i wear a super long earring only on the left ear without making it look like i lost the other one!???! lol!:blush:

i love that look but im afraid that people i hang out with wont get it (they're not that much into fashion) and then might tell me that i lost one earring.... hahaha:lol:

*tiaras with swarovski crystals seem to be THE hottest accessorie for the current festive season, simply love them when worn by others.. gave one as a present to my best friend, she danced the night away wearing it and looking uber cute
*xtra long single earrings worn on the left earring, as saw them on a good number of girls on xmas eve parties.
looked quite cute.

ditto to everything, plus military and rock n' roll, but all of the above in small doses, and done well. you know, often it isn't the good/bad trend that is the problem, but the wearer. i have seen victorian done well and stylishly, and then done so it looks fashion-victim-y, costume-y, and all around ridiculous.
