I guess I've been into low-heel boots, especially riding boots, and especially low-heel or riding boots tucked into jeans or pants. While there's nothing wrong with high-heel boots, I've somehow liked riding boots in jeans lately. The whole jeans-in-boots look seems to mostly be about sporting your most fabulous boots with a good pair of jeans. Most of you used to my comments know I've had quite some disputes ad nauseum about how much I hated this as a look. But these days- I've accepted the look, and I've even somehow like riding boots, especially in jeans or pants.

i've been big into accessories for the past month or so:
- foulards as headbands/prada or prada-style headbands and turbans/other interesting "headwear"
- gladiator sandals with zipper backs
- caged heels
- massive statement necklaces, but not the bib kind that actually incorporates fabric
- chain-strap bags (i love mine from marc by marc jacobs, the red heart quilted one!), but done right, not the cheap ones from forever 21 or anything like that
- the backpack trend! i remember a lovely stella mccartney one featured in teen vogue a year or so ago, shaped like a bunny
