Trends You Are Sick Of #2

Looking sloppy (ex: MK Olsen). It's been going on for a number of years now and I can't stand it. What is the point of paying thousand of dollars to look like a homeless person? I can't wait for the days when people are back to looking clean and neat and wearing clothes that actually fit.

second that! hate that hobo-look. especially when you put thousands of dollars for a trashy look.

agh yeah when you buy everything 4 sizes too big. it just drowns everyone.

Spikes have becoming a trend lately especially with Rihanna and Alicia Keys. At first, they were intriguing because they looked dangerous and unconventional but now they're just tacky.

haha yes agree agree....thick african curls are not my friend!!
I decided to embrace my african curls a couple of years ago, and believe me, it's much better like that! But then again, to each his own ;)

people who just buy something because it's in topshop and dress like the mannequins.

OMG totally agree!!!!!!!!!

I know I'm going to get bashed for this..... but
Edward Cullen-esque hair.
James Dean pulled it off, and few do...but others who try to imitate this look wind up looking like a cockatoo...and that's not okay...

Studs are still fun and interesting...but now they're EVERYWHERE and sometimes they're really overdone and ugly.

@labellevie: i completely and totally agree. it looks corny and unoriginal. why did james dean pull it off so well? i think partially because it looked great on him, but also because it was different...fresh, original.

unless you actually know what its like to have curly, frizzy african curls (not waves...) then you wouldnt know how hard it is to live with it naturally. And I dont think Dry hair is a 'trend' girls are going for either. No offense intended in this comment, just stating thoughts!

:flower:

Gotta agree with this, I'm the whitest kid alive yet I had the most extreme of curls. Living with curls is damn near torture and maintaining it is even worse! I look up to the people who rock it every day and don't put effort into styling it. I shaved mine all off haha.

Thing I hate, HATE the "American Eagle only" look. Kids at my school, butcher that store and I see zero variety. Also see these on every 2nd person, sorry but it doesn't make you unique :(

Shudder.

I don't know how this became a trend but I can't wait for the whole leggings-as-pants thing finally dies. I don't even mind leggings too terribly, it's when they're worn with some short top that shows off your entire, uh, "situation". No no no no.

 i dont know how it became a "trend" either...more like a mistake if you ask me! i dont know why girls think that everyone wants to see that area. hm.

This isn't so much a trend as my ultimate pet peeve, and something that is all too prevalent in California. Flip-flops with everything! Its even more heinous on people that look like they otherwise made an attempt to dress themselves. Why would you stop at your feet.

I'd rather see you wearing a trash bag with a fabulous pair of heels than some dingy floppy rubber things on your feet.

James Dean came first, so if anything, "Edward Cullen" and everyone else are trying to imitate him.
