Trends You Are Sick Of #2

Though I'm sure its been said before, JEGGINGS! I mean why not just wear skinny jeans? A trend I'm also sick of. And you know what's most frustrating, when you liked something before the "trend" took off and still liking it after the trend is over and then having the trend-followers thinking you're unstylish.

Here's a current trend that really irks me: dresses that are designed to look like a skirt and a top, but are still dresses. I see them everywhere, the cheap versions at target, and the nicer quality ones from contemporary designers. It's not even the aesthetic that bothers me, but the concept. I mean common, why not just wear a freakin' skirt and top?! Even if I try on a dress like this and it looks good, I refuse to buy it. Haha not sure why it gets to me so much, it just does.

Shapeless sack dresses. Just shapelessness in clothing. Some structure will not kill you. Uniqlo has shapeless sack dresses; Diane Von Furstenberg has shapeless sack dresses. El cheapo places like F21 etc have shapeless sack dresses. Enough already!

*Fake-looking fur. If you're going to wear fur, whether it's fake or real, at least make it look real! I've even seen a lot of girls wearing real fur on their boots that look fake and disgusting.

huh so people should look like they are wearing dead animals why is it bad to be fake?

That is an easy one- from guys. Guys love chicks that wear leggings as pants- as lone as she is slim and has a cute shape.

I'm sick of open-toe boots it seriously sickens me & gladiator sandals but it doesn't erk me as much as the open-toe boots

I hate the fact that nearly every dress that I see in stores have waistlines that are too high. Why!? A pouffy dress looks terrible when the waist is at the ribcage, on any body type... do they expect that we are all 1m50? I certainly an not!

crocs and uggs seem to be the only consistent trend that noone has loved...ever (as in the trend that always pops up on this board, but never on the 'Trends We Love' board.) Putting them together is just smacking decency in the face.

it isn't just the ugliness of the cruggs that makes me shudder, it's the name!

The trend I'm sick of at the moment is bodycon dresses. They look hot, but after eating too much over xmas they are not flattering on me anymore!
