Trends You Are Sick Of #2

I am actually sick of seeing the waist-belt trend. I mean, it can be a really nice detail to a simple dress (LBD), but people really don't know how to pull it off. I've seen too many horror cases where the belt is wider then their waist! :shock:

Im sick of a really new one... which is like im sick too early:unsure::innocent:... men on high boots (kinda to go for a ride with a horse)... I cant... i cant...:yuk:

This is probably said before, but I hate kitten heels. I feel like no matter how hot the shoes are, if you look in the back and they're kitten heels.. it's just horror.

Ditto. Spotted a lady at work wearing a very wide belt, sat just under her bust, one of those elasticated ones. And I immediately thought 'Trends You Are Sick Of' ^_^

plaid/lumberjack shirts. I originally thought this trend died a few years ago when the Olsen twins stopped dressing like hobos but this has reared its ugly head on my campus.

One of my best friends is on a plaid shirt kick. We're going to the mall tomorrow, I wonder if she'll want any.

The "trend" I'm sick of? I live in a small country town. I wanna see people beside high schoolers wear something new. As for everyday wear goes, the blue jeans and t-shirt is the norm here.

i personally like the plaid shirt but to each their own. Also i love uggs, but i would only wear them round the house or to the supermarket :D

but yes agree with the leggings as pants, crocs, neon skinnies, denim on denim...but then again i am not going to have a fit or give them the once over if people do wear it. Everyone can dress however the heck they want, im not one to judge.

also i read on here that skinny jeans arent supposed to be worn by people that arent tall....whhaat?? thats just scandalous.

Wow. All my favourite trends to hate are up here:
* Clunky massive (often patent leather) shoes - they're especially bad when the girls wearing them are too young to be sexy sirens and just turn out looking naively trashy :/
* cutoff shorts
* people trying hard to look alternative when they're just copying the style and totally failing to make it their own. It totally defeats the purpose of looking 'different'.
* balmain copycating - especially the military vests/jackets
* studs on everything

Coach
Leggings
Skinny Jeans
Bright Checkerboard Print
Converse
Hipster look
Trucker hats
Ed Hardy
Juicy Couture

Cork heels. They just look cheap.

Except maybe when louboutin does them all over...then it's just weird enough to work :)

vintage wear that actually isn't real vintage. Some kids need to know that you can't consider your mom's socks to be vintage.

Uggs tucked into sweatpants :sick: (unless they're pajamas...and your inside your house or wherever...and do not plan to step foot outside)
Crocs (seriously? ...I saw someone wearing a bright yellow pair on campus)
Ed Hardy
80's inspired clothing (the neon colors everywhere...is just too much at times)

Do people still wear Crocks? :o

^ I actually like fringe, if it's done tastefully. :) If there's too much... It just looks awful.
