Oh sorry, it's by BY TRINI G. I've never credited this site before ^_^

Squizree...

Kind of goth but not? It's more like goth meets old lady and eerily reminiscent of something stereotypical goths in movies would wear during the late 80's or early 90's. Oversize mature clothing and a penchant for blacks.

This is from a the cult classic b horror movie Mirror Mirror

I'm sick of seeing oxfords everywhere, as well as sheer maxi skirts. Even worse when they're combined with dip dyed hair.

I'm not sure this counts as an already-existing tred because, as far as I can tell, it's only taking off this fall, but. The boots with the super skinny wedge heel need to die now. What does one call that heel, anyway? Besides highly impractical and unflattering to pretty much everyone, I mean.

Burgundy, I'm already sick of it and it's only October. It's exactly how I felt about camel a year ago, actually I'm still sick of that colour.
Wedge ankle boots. They are everywhere.
Washed denim, often paired with something black.
Visible bras
...

The so-called French Chic basic style.

Short skirt. Cropped skinny trousers. Simple shirts, in blue, white, checkered. White t-shirt, striped t-shirt. Simple sweaters. Oxford boots, Pistol Boots, Dicker Boots. Chucks or brogues. Blazer, leather jacket, trenchcoat, pea coat. Mulberry bag, Chanel bag, Cambridge Satchel.

Mix these things as you please, and ONLY these (might be I've forgotten something).

It's not that I dislike these particular items of clothing (I have a few of them myself, who wouldn't), but that on most blogs you only see these clothes. Nothing else. Only basic stuff. Nothing suprising, nothing special, nothing particularly adorable. Everyone looks the same. It just bores me enourmously. :ninja:

Every other post on my tumblr dashboard is a man's (unfathomably expensive) canvas rucksack with leather straps and piping detail. I like them, but I am sick to death of seeing them this week.

It's either that or cafe tables & cups of coffee, which aren't exactly clothing, but do not doubt the significance, hahahaaar!

I could live without jumpsuits.

I think it is difficult to look good in it but people won't admit that and yet they still wear it ...

Yes! And they're so impractical. This hasn't happened to me recently, but I still have horrible memories from the first go-round with jumpsuits in the '70s: you're standing in line at the public bathroom and you want to use the facilities and you really have to go, but noooo, you have to stand there for an hour while the jumpsuit-wearing person in front of you tries to find a way to extricate themselves and get dressed again in a teensy little stall.

There is nothing good about them. Nothing. There's a reason they went out of style the first time, people!

I'm starting to get sick of aztec prints, first of all because we are no longer talking about a trend but about a culture used as a trend (most of theses adorable fashionable loveable bloggers even IGNORE the history of what they are wearing - just like collegians who don't know from where and what was born the Fred Perry tees, or that girl with the last it-bag wearing a navy tee and ignoring the how this uniform became a daily clothing) and to go back on aztec prints, it's ony fitting girls with a great body. The other are looking like traditional mongolian yurts.

I agree with everyone who hates the Jeffrey Campbell Litas. I believe they were inspired by a Charles Anastase style a few years back, which I actually liked, but I despise their sheer ubiquitousness on fashion blogs. Same goes for the Isabel Marant Dicker boots, and the many, many high street copies. I'm starting to get sick of the sight of Acne Pistol boots as well, there have been so many copies that they're ruined the original for me.

Not sure if it's a trend or not, but spiked/studded pumps just don't appeal to me. "Hey! Let's make these hot pair of pumps/sandals chic by putting spikes and studs on them!" Almost as good as spiking the bowl of fruit punch at parties. I'm not liking these studded shoes even while more than 80% of humanity love these spiked/studded shoes. Get them out, and take those [exotic dancer, street walker] over-the-knee/thigh-high boots with them.

I agree with you!

What do you call these trends? I've had enough of all of them. It's not cute or charming.
*do not quote images, please*

Haha i would be a lot thankful if Singapore girls dress like that... everyone's walking on the street looking the same here.

Sheer floaty sleeveless white tops (or similar) with high waisted vintage looking shorts (and coincidentally everyone wears light brown ones) or dresses with small floral prints are everywhere here.

No one does color blocking/boy-wear or anything else...

And all the guys are in T-shirts with skinny jeans or Fred Perry polo tee with straight cut jeans here.

Everyone looks like they are wearing uniform...

I'm sick of the Kardashian style-- tight dresses, one-shoulder dresses, leopard-print, super-high platforms, over-the-knee boots, no less than 4 or 5 statement pieces per outfit...etc.

In Melbourne I am particularly sick of:

1. Bodycon dresses - we seem to have been flooded with imitation Herve Leger ones lately. If you head out in Melbourne on a Saturday night, 50%+ of the girls will be wearing a tight brightly coloured dress.
2. Sass&Bide. Extremely bad quality & over priced for how 'mainstream' it is now, plus everyone knows where you got our item from, what season and how much. Where is the fun in that?

Blogosphere:
1. Litas - fugly in my opinion...
