Seapunk, i didnt know it was so popular. i forget how big tumblr's influence has on the internet.

azelia's new music video perfectly captures the entire trend in 2 minutes

and a NY times article on the trend

^ had never heard of or seen seapunk, but grew tired of it by the second paragraph of the NYT article.

jackets with leather sleeves...
especially if the body of the jkt is military green...

it's just over saturation at this point...

I guess that will show up here next year.

For now,

"#menswear"

plaid shirts with or without v-neck sweater
cropped/tailored jeans or pants
wingtips with no socks or redwing boots

go away now

:p

litas
michael kors watches
studs
khaki in general
camo
cross prints
boy london
vans
fishtail skirts
caps/snapbacks
zara totes
starting to get bit sick of creepers..not quite but getting there..

I´m tired of khaki´s, ugggghhh!
and even more sad to me, I bought 4 pairs in different styles, just 4 months ago, now I want my money back...

I'm not sick of the 90s so much as I am of people saying "this reminds me of the 90s". I feel like everyone is competing to cite references for cool cred and I'm just sitting there, scowling.

Also, that blogger-style, vintage-princess look

As for co-ords, however, I think they're fantastic... It's weird but I love the whole "chic pajamas" trend. I also loved harem pants. It might be an ugly pants thing...

Madewell look, wedge sneakers

+1. The Madewell look is all over New York! Wedge sneakers are alright, but I'm not a fan of the studded gaudy ones.

In addition, I'd like to propose the whole DGAF, Nastygal.com style. Ripped cutoffs, JC Balenciaga knock-offs, studded/slashed tanks etc.

Michael Kors purses
Riding boots
Quilted boots
PU/leather sleeves
army jackets
Ombre hair

I have narrowed down the wedge sneaker deal to hidden wedge sneaker. I still don't get what makes these hidden wedge sneakers stylish or fun to begin with. I just don't get them. I like wedges. I like wedge sneakers. I am just not into these hidden wedge sneakers. I still fancy a sneaker-inspired shoe like the old "Binder" shoe from Steve Madden than these sporty 80-style or [early] 90s-style wedge sneakers. Get them out. Please?

Proenza Schouler does sea punk.

all black out canvas "tennis shoes," they don't flatter anyone
Obvi two-tone/ombre hair (like, 50/50)
Black beanie with all black ensemble
Pleather purses

UGGS with sweatpants.

Really tight black jeggings pulled wayyyy too high on 14-17 year old girls. They usually have a messy bun and uggs on. Bleh.

Sequins on shirts. Seriously??

Rain boots that look like cowboy boots. NO......

That last one... dear god :o.

Crop tops - so over them / was never into them.
Denim jackets.
Cut out jersey dresses.

i know this is a bit silly, because it's like saying you're sick of seeing "ponytails" or "low buns", but i'm really sick of every single girl wear messy top knot buns in their hair. there are so many girls that wear it like a dirty teenage boy wears a hat, to hide bad hair! there is a time and a place for the top knot...
