Trends You Are Sick Of #3 (November 2010 - September 2014)

You can blame Rihanna for that, and you can blame Rihanna for the godawful Boy London trend, which is specifically why I came to this thread - to vent my anger at the ubiquity of all things Boy London. I remember Chloe Sevigny wore a Boy London top back in 2010 and I didn't really mind them.

That, and tops that say 'OBEY'. It's just that brand of hipster wear that I can't stand. If you go into Urban Outfitters, you're likely to find at least one person wearing either... or both.

Michael Kors sandals, wallets, bags and accessories!!!!! ugh

I seriously don't get this trend that has taken white hipster girls with storm; bindis. It just annoys me, tbh.

How interesting, I haven't seen this. Do they dress up in other "ethnic" stuff or is it just a regular outfit + bindi? Is it for day wear or something you see in a club type context? I wonder if it is related to late 90s revivals. I remember the ubiquity of the "eclectic ethnic" look from that time. *Ahem* Gwen Stefani... (I see Selena Gomez has been describing her bindi use as "glam tribal". Watch out white hipster girls, accusations of cultural colonialism await you. I just googled and saw that Miley Cyrus enjoys a good bindi too. Just one more thing to be mad at her for :lol:

^I think they are meant to make up for the fact that all blouses are near-see-through these days. Without pockets everything would be on display:P

^The see-through part or the pockets? I quite like a sheer white tees for summer (with a bra underneath of course!). I'm not a fan of pockets myself, but that is mainly because I have never seen a shirt pocket with a decent seam... Not even the Equipment ones. And I don't really need bulk in that area:P

both - I love see through shirts and like you said, the pockets do help hide the bra  I don't think the pockets make a lot of sense in every single shirt, however, especially when they're not sheer.

SKUUUULLLLLSSS!

Seriously. Can we just stop. I can barely even find a shirt for my three year old without a skull on it.

DIE.

Those exacerbated cat eye glasses! ( alexa chung wears them a lot and other "fashionistas" )

In FInland MIchael Kors is the new Guess ( which i hate, awful label)
I used to like kors, i still do but some of the pieces are too "mainstream"
Everyone is wearing them. Like the Hamilton.

Same in Australia.

And I just don't like the fact that nothing in MK is original. It just feels like a high street rip off label with an intermediately extravagant tag.

MINT COLOR!! Im so sick of it, Everyone has like this obsession with it and It sooooo last season

Lavender, mint, peach. Pastels are over unless you can really style it right but everyone in my school is a Forever 21 zombie.

So basically you are sick of bad taste? Who isn't?:D

There's a style here in ZH that I just don't get: women wearing dresses with footless leggings and ballerina flats. I really wish the trend would fly away somewhere over the Alps.
