Trends You Are Sick Of...

I'm tired of seeing every girl under the age of 25 wearing chokers with pretty much every outfit –*whether you're going to work, a funeral or a wedding, chokers seem to be the accessory du jour. They weren't a good look in the 90s; they're not a good look now. Please, someone, make it stop...

I am going to nominate furry pumps and sandals here in my latest roundup of disliked styles. I remember a few stylish pumps I've seen... only to be ruined by some furry pom pom (which I still dislike), or some furry detail on the backs of some pumps. I've seen some furry sandals that have some fur on them around the toes. I can't look at some of those furry sandals as much as I think about some over-knee boots without thinking, *exotic dancer*. I'm sorry. I'm not feeling certain furry pumps and sandals.
Now if you're wondering why I am not knocking furry boots or anything like that, that's because I've seen some very okay furry boots. So they aren't in the conversation.

What would you replace them with? Wide, flare legs? Gags, no thx! Seems to be some other offerings available this season though.
I just find them sleekest. Id like to see more variety in them, like more what they wanna call, "moto" styling, where they are patched together, ala star trekkien, or some embroidery, some different pockets beyond the 5 pocket yawners. Its hard to find variety in them. They did have colors years ago but even that has dried up, id like to see more muted, adult colors, like muted grape mauve, maybe brushed. Idk? Mot these glow in the dark, super bright juvenile colors. I dont feel designers have mastered the cut yet even. Its these super high rise, that cause baggy bottom, or the ankle is too long, too wide, or they contian plastic, i mean polyester, ack! Just say no!
And....there still hasnt been much in the way of skinny, casual pants! Pants! Flat front, not hideous pleated, not sweatpants, not leggings but pants. Ie, dickies style pockets, super skinny, differwnt pockets. All i have seen is the same ole zippers across the front jean. Wet seal? Used to have an amazing variety of boot cut pants. And ive yet to see that done to skinnies. I guess im just having trouble finding ghe skinnies i like, without polyester, cut the way i want? And not for $200. Cause my weight flucuates, cause i have a dog, cause they stretch out, cause i like variety and could have a bunch for 200 instead of one pair

Cropped bootcuts, cropped flares, cropped straight leg. And if you are not into cropped (because you wear hiddeous shoes and want to hide them?), just make them full lenght.

I wouldn't really call this a trend, but when people wear socks with sandals.
^ It's the same with parkas here where I live. Preferably lined with some nasty fake fur at the hood.
well are Parkas a trendy fashion piece or necessary?

I'd say parkas are a classic. They might get a bit (or a lot) more exposure at the moment, but I would say they're timeless outerwear like the trenchcoat or peacoat. The execution however (fur, fit and such) is more influenced by trends than the item itself.
I agree, and I think this applies as well to bomber jackets and motorcycle jackets.
I've been seeing nylon bombers (MA-1s, specifically) that have been abraded in random places to achieve a destroyed look that I've never seen on an actually worn jacket, I think it looks pretty try-hard (and kind of ridiculous).
