Trends You Are Sick Of...

Fortunately most of the trends stated here are seen on the internet (Instagram, blogs etc.), not in real life. At least in my case.
By stylists, photographers and such? Models... Perhaps I should have a go as well :)

Nose ring with big matte lips every instagram wannabe make up artist seems to be sporting. Also heavy contouring, it works on stage but not so much real life. Everyone is started to look the same because of it. I do think makeup is a form of self expression and you should do what you want, but I do wonder how many of those heavy makeup wearers feel self conscious about their natural look

Any piercings outside of the ears or the navel are piercings I am opposed to. I can't stand seeing nose piercings or lip piercings. So hearing about piercings with the lipstick you make mention to just makes me cringe.

I am hating the 90s trend with passion.

why can't they come up with something new? or at least don´t copy it 1:1! I could re-use all my 90s clothes if I had kept them!

By now I'm sick of bomber jackets specially low-cost ones which never nail down the silhouette, I'm also nylon-aversem which I guess just adds to my overall rejection to this kind of garment.

Regarding womenswear I cannot understand this fixation on layering a nightgown over a sweater, it's very try-hard and does not look good IMO.

Maybe high street shops love to sell bomber jackets because they are cheap to manufacture as well? Not sure, but I would imagine that a zipper is easier than buttons to sew and the slouchy shape easier than a blazer, for example.

I'm so tired of this sort of dusty, chalky, natural, terra cotta fashion....the sort of faux-gallerista with a shaggy Jerry Curl haircut and a clompy block heeled shoe. Shapeless layers of linen. A potted succulent. A furry pool-slide sandal. Your naked butt on Instagram. A frayed pair of medium wash culotte denim.

I'd like to see that die off with 2016.

^ I may or may not have snorted out loud while reading that. It's one hell of a vivid image.:heart:

With the advent of Menswear Month starting again...I'm praying that this wave of oversized ill-fitting clothes on boys vanishes into the ether.

Athleisure. The word alone makes me want to burn anything tracksuit related.

^ same... so so tired of seeing people wear tracksuits everyday and everywhere, literally, everywhere.

I'm just glad all of instagram already stopped spamming the triangl swimwear, the fringed everything, and the ripped boyfriend jeans.

Soo sick of:

▪ Track pants with heels especially with a lingerie top:yuk:
▪ Those hideous germ & bacteria infested furry slippers by RhiannaxPuma
▪ Metallica and Slayer shirts worn by girls who can't even name one song without Googling it
▪ Fishnets under ripped jeans
▪ Instagram "model"/Fashion blogger style
▪ Leggings as pants especially with crop tops
▪ The term "dad hat" used to describe regular baseball style hats
▪ Anything Kylie Jenner

I'm having a puke day. And seeing Victoria/Tomas following Vetements sheets has me getting real nauseous.

I am honestly sick of ripped jeans (especially boyfriend ripped jeans) + sports shoes.
Not to mention ultra ripped jeans. I was already sick when it just appeared :<

Crop tops in winter
Adidas Superstars + boyfriend jeans
Thrasher logo T-shirts worn by people who have nothing to do with skateboarding
Obsession with big butts
Sportwear anywhere outside the gym
Belt bags

Seen a lot of metallica, iron maiden and nirvana shirts worn by prim fashion ladies. Makes me wonder if they are real fans of the bands.

The streetwear uniform of boxy tshirt tucked into mom jeans with a belt.

Oversized ruffles. I find the tiny little ones rather cute though.

Oh, funny that I see it just the opposite ... I like big ruffles (really big and dramatic, not average sized ... on the right garment) and I think smaller ones are way too "precious" for my taste. Personal preference ... neither right nor wrong.
